What type of bad critique can you handle the least?

I hate it when I made something from what I think is really hard to do and where I'm really proud of, and then people say it's damn easy. Hate it. I don't spend all that time on something to hear people say: 'This is easy.' I just can't handle that kind of critique...

 

To be honest, I don't have a problem with critique.

That is, as long as the person who is criticising whatever it is I have done is also willing to provide advice on how to change it or improve.

When it is criticism for the sake of criticism, that is when I find a problem with it.

 

Many people can handle critique, but what can you handle the LEAST....?

Please, don't let there be a 'I can't choose' option again...

You can't always expect people to fit into the boxes you try to put them in. You didn't specify mine so I chose other.

No no no, I didn't mean that. I just expected someone to say: "I can handle it.", or just wanting to have another option added, you know what I mean?

Because I figure that everyone would pick that option.

That one makes me pissed. I mean, the most criticism I get is from my AMVs (most of it good, since Youtube has very little taste), and I know there are people who can edit faster than I do, with better results. I don't need it rubbed in my face. I just feel like, "I do what I can with the knowledge I have. If you don't like it, don't watch."

 

I think that you need a fragile ego to be bothered by any of those things. That's just me but if you really want to be good at something you're going to have to accept that there are other people manifolds better than you and that you must compete with them before you get complacent. So in short you should be the one disparaging your own failure rather than letting someone else point out the obvious. It shows a lack of resolution and dedication when you're so easily put down and disheartened.

 

Any unconstructive critisism when someone says my work is bad. I'm especially annoyed by "This sucks, period". Quite frankly, if my work is that bad, I could tell you that myself.

I generally do not get annoyed by bad critique. I've just learned to ignore it and go with the majority, which is usually good. I just can't stand the inconsiderate people who don't take into account the amount of time and effort it takes for even a single video, particularly in Machinima.

I'd to try my best and still fail. Because only then will you have to admit that you can't do it.

 

Definitely when the critic doesn't provide any sort of advice on how to improve and/or what not to do. If they simply say they don't like it, but don't specifically state what they don't like about it, I feel as though they're just saying it to irritate me or they're just talking out of their ass.

I don't mind it when it is wanted....but when people butt in and give you unneccisary *?* critique.....that is when it is enough to make me mad......

all of them make me angry but this one is just plain rude in my opinion. At the very least leave some advice for how to improve it >.> I've had a few people say something similar to this on my videos and I just delete them

"This sucks. Period." is really annoying. Would it kill you to add some reason why it sucks?

Another one that annoys me is when people say that something sucks, just because they don't like the person who did the thing.​
