You know when Sora is opening 'a gate'

or during Roxas's Desperation move that weird brownish background appears...what the hell is that?? what is the point??

I noticed this as well, but never found it way too important. Either they ran out of effect ideas or Roxas is opening a gate as well, but in an attacking way. May not make much sense, but that's how I see it.

 

Mabye it shows that their trying to focus all their energy on just that one thing. Other than that my guess is as good as yours.

 

Actually, I think Roxas absorbs the Twilight Power from the background he shows (mentally), he glows whitish when the background is open. But, the thing I don't see why Sora does the same... he doesn't use Twilight power.

happened to me once, i smacked the PS2, (not the smartest thing) *blushes*, and then it went away. I don't know how, or what it was.

I always thought it was the passage way to other worlds. Don't you also see it in the gummi missions?

I think its what happens when you summon the keyblades true power.

That's a Re-used Effect,nothing more.

 

Then it just may be the power of the kingdom key.
