Try Magicx if your inexperienced. Problem is, WMM is really the only program that is free :/

WMM is the only free one. =/ And it's not that bad, actually...

That is really the only one to use. All the other (Good) video editor's cost money...and some can cost as much as 200 dollars. =/

Yeah, but you just need to look for the right places to get some of them a bit cheaper.

Got my copy of Sega Vegas off Ebay for like 200 bucks.

I think if WMM is slow then other video editting programs will be. x.x

I'd just stick with WMM, personally..

I got Vegas for £50 off Amazon.

For begginers stick with WMM for a bit, another free video editting software is called Soap, it's miles better then WMM, it can crop and has far more effects, though it only accepts avi files.

But for pro's Vegas is good, but pricy, and so is Adobe Premiere, there are 2 version of premiere you can get, Premiere Pro, which is the best home video editting software you can get, but it is very pricy. But there is a much cheaper version called Premiere Elements, it's not quite as good but in a AMV and home movie sense is perfect, it has all you really need, about as much as Vegas and only costs about $100.

Yeah you can, right-click the audio frame, and press mute.
