What Pisses You Off Most About Rap Music?

For me it's gotta be that every rap song MUST include the phrase "money in the bank".

I dislike the way I can never seem to understand the lyrics (which to me are often what makes the song). Also, they all seem to be the same song with the same topic and often with the same words.

 

Everything I hate rap! >.< I wish it wasnt even a genre! D< Plus it's extremely tackey how all they think about is money and gold. D<

Everytime I start singing the "Walk it Out" song in my head, I switch to "Snap yo' fingers" in the middle, and then the "Lean With it, Rock With it", and the the "It's Goin' Down" song, and it literally takes me 5 minutes before I can even tell that the songs changed at all. XDDD

THEY ALL SOUND THE FRICKIN' SAME!!! =O

Diversify yourself, peeps!

But, then again, those are mostly the crunk songs. There ARE different types or rap that are more intelligent.... That's usually the kind I listen to.

Well,here are a couple of good reasons:
1-There is no hard work involved,anyone can download sounds and make a beat with it.
2-There is no meaning behind a rap song,the dumass is just flashing about his money.
3-You get bored with it really quickly.

one, that is degrads women and calls us hoes, and whores and w/e..secondly....I haven't found one woman rapper that talks about guys...Thn THEY will know how us women feel when we are talked about in music played around the counrty and world...

i have no problem with the actual rappers, except how they degrade women, and all the songs they make sound EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!!!!!! rawr...they all talk about a girl's huge butt, how they have money, lotsa bling bling, jess? and how they are just so flippin fly!! argh!! and all their videos look the same!! theyre in a club and they have like 50 pounds of gold hanging on their necks and apparently didnt have braces as kids, and there are girls like 80% naked, with huge butts, and dancing around them!! weve seen it over and over again in all the videos - stop making them like that then!!!!!

but other than that, i think the music is cool lol like the beat and stuff, and besides the repetitiveness i like listening to it lol but then again, i like every type of music:D seriously...except opera, and pure country, country music....*twitch*

Ehhh.. rap is okay. I listen to it.

Alot of songs are very degrading(like super heavy rap where half the time you have no flippin' idea what they are saying; except bragging about their hos and how much they get :/ )... some send "good" messages... others a funny... and some are just annoying.

But ya know, the beats get stuck in your head.

 

it is monotone as well as filled with terrible grammer...
