Square-Enix What is your party set up in every Final Fantasy?

FFVI: Terra, Sabin, Cyan, Edgar. Sometimes Celes replaces Terra and Locke replaces Sabin.
FFVII: Cloud, Barret, Tifa. Cid sometimes replaces Tifa
FFVIII: Squall, Rinoa, Irvine.
FFIX: Zidane, Steiner, Eiko, Vivi. Sometimes Amarant replaces Steiner
FFX: Tidus, Auron & Wakka. Sometimes Yuna or Rikku replaces one.
FFX2: Yuna: Gunner/Alchemist, Rikku: Thief, Paine: Warrior/Dark Knight.
FFXII: Vaan, Balthier, Ashe/Fran.

Final Fantasy X: Tidus, Auron and Wakka (sometimes Lulu and Yuna when I need magic or summoning)

Final Fantasy X-2: Preset.

Final Fantasy XII: Balthier, Fran and Ashe

 

Final Fantasy: Never played it.

Final Fantasy II: Never played it.

Final Fantasy III: Preset party but I change all classes when I get new ones.

Final Fantasy IV: Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Rydia and Edge.

Final Fantasy V: Never played it.

Final Fantasy VI: Terra, Celes, Mog and Setzer (Yes I'm weird)

Final Fantasy VII:
Before the temple of ancients= Cloud, Tifa and Aerith.
After Temple of ancients= Cloud, Tifa and Yuffie.

Final Fantasy VIII: Squall, Quistis and Rinoa.

Final Fantasy IX: Zidane, Garnet, Eiko and Vivi.

Final Fantasy X: Lulu, Rikku and Yuna.

Final Fantasy X-2: Preset and I use default dressspheres (Although I level up all with all for time killing)

Final Fantasy XI: Never have nor will play it.

Final Fantasy XII: Usually Fran, Ashe and Penelo (But replaced Fran with Vaan for Vayne Novus and Vayne the undying). I use onlyBasch for fghts against Gabranth, Balthier for fights against Dr Cid and Only ashe for the first two Judges and Vayne.

 

FFVII:Cloud, Red XIII and Vincent

FFIX: Zidane, Steiner, Eiko, Vivi.

FFX: Tidus, Auron and Yuna/Lulu/Wakka

FFXII: Vaan, Basch and fran

 

Final Fantasy I - Black Mage, White Mage, Fighter, Monk
Final Fantasy II - Preset
Final Fantasy III - 2 mages, 2 fighters, usually stick with a Red Mage and Monk for a while though, up to the best classes of these types. (I played the original NES version, am now working on the DS one...)
Final Fantasy IV - Preset.
Final Fantasy V - Preset, but with 2 mages, 2 fighters.
Final Fantasy VI - whoever is at the lowest levels, and Celes. Though for a long time, just Celes, Sabin, and Setzer whenever possible because I was working on beating the game with only 3 characters.
Final Fantasy VII - Cloud, and whoever's at the lowest levels
Final Fantasy VIII - Squall, and whoever's at the lowest levels
Final Fantasy IX - Zidane, and whoever's at the lowest levels
Final Fantasy X - They change very frequently. Wakka seems to get a lot of screentime.

And I haven't played XI or XII. And I think it's pretty straightforward for Tactics Advance and FFVII: DOC.
The entire lowest levels thing is so that every character gets used and everyone grows at about the same rate. Except the main character of course, who ends up like 10 levels above everyone else.

 

FFXII:Vaan Basch and Ashe
