What is the longest duration of time you have gone without eating?

The populous has some questionable BMIs. So, nerds?

I'll admit some surprise that I have yet to develop any health problems... aside from an (un)healthy dose of lethargia, and oversleeping (tired after 10+ hrs of rest). Trying to fix this.

 

Maybe a day or two...granted, I was at a con when I did, and managed to catch con plague afterward.

I've been trying to keep twelve or more hours between the last time I eat each day and the first time I eat the next day. As of now, it's been 13 hours since I last ate.

 

2 days...but i was sick

 

3-4 days.

 

You were not kidding with the anorexic comment? I would scold you, but seeing as how I have done similar such things, I am not exactly in the position to...

 

48 hour fasting. Water only. IIRC I also over shot it a bit, but don't know by how much. So yeah, two days.

I was actually sick for a month. I was in constant pain. It hurt to eat. It hurt even if I didn't eat, but I was better off not eating. I lost 20 pounds in the first two weeks of my illness.

 

There have been several times where I haven't eaten for at least two days, usually because there was nothing to eat or I simply didn't feel like eating anything.

 

5 days, when I was camping with Girl Scouts (lol) The only food there was disgusting so I refused to eat it.

Actually cant remember if it was 5, 6 or 7 but it was a week or something like that.

 

Two full days, when I was sick in middle school. Ate on the third day. The only time I was well and didn't eat for some time I went for about 26 hours... so just over a day. I think the major issue on here with the bmi thread is fast metabolisms, and many people who aren't getting below average / average are a bit afraid to post.

 

Does taking one bite of food on Friday morning, and then being sick for the rest of the weekend count as three full days?

 

Four days.

Some . . . things happened, and I didn't really have the mental/physical capacity to eat.

Of course, I was a sort of vegetable those four days, but I digress.​

 

Five days.
I drank lots of tea though, and didn't faint until day four. Indeed.
Although I do still live mostly on tea. But I have at least one meal a day, so yesh. Unless I am in one of my "has not slept for far too long so body shuts down and sleeps for 18 hours" moods, as then I go a day or two without eating. But that's because I'm asleep. Mostly.

One day. I get violently ill if I go too long without eating anything.

 

Like a day. I never eat if it involves pausing my video game. Video games must come first.
