    ...with the Slender Man? I just saw a horrific video about a game called "Slender", and I want to know more (as in what you guys know) about the Slender Man. What can you tell me?

    I made a Youtube video and asked what the deal about it was.
    Not one person said it was real. Its just an urban legend.

    I mean the concept of the legend is stunning. Some tall, skinny guy wearing a suit with tentacles walks around to screw around with peoples minds and then He just makes them go completely insane! Just the thought of it being a supernatural being.

    I heard a lot of this on Facebook and what not. In my opinion, I think it is fake. Just something to freak people out and what not.

    If it is true, by some weird coincidence, then I'm not sure I would want to meet this creature. . .

    It mainly made me paranoid. But I agree, if he is real, I wouldn't touch him with a 20 foot pole
    I read some stuff, and it is a fascinating concept.

    One of my favorite fan-made urban myths actually. Apparently there's a movie about him called "Windigo" out I think now (saw it on Youtube, haven't watched yet) and another titled simply "Slenderman" coming out later this year.

    Before I say anything else, I'd like to congratulate you on using the term Slender Man rather than Slenderman, which sounds more like a superhero than a horrible Eldritch abomination.

    Anyway, you're gonna be hard pressed to find any concrete information on it. Your best bet would be to start watching and following Marble Hornets, series that was originally supposed to be set in the Slender Man mythos, but eventually became its own thing due to many copycat works. It's still the definitive source on anything Slender, though, despite having whatever its monster is retconned into something called "The Operator."
