Help What is it that referals do?

I was just wondering what do referals(sp?) do.

 

Referrals are merely showing who referred (told/recommanded) this site to the user. The higher the number, the more people who referred to this site for that user. If it's 0, then that person found out himself/herself. It doesn't really matter though...whether you have 10 referrals or 0, no one really cares. :) Any other questions, just pm me~!

 

I always did wonder what this function was... Thanks for clearing that up! :3 *and yeah, it does sound insignificant when you think about it*

 

i thought it was how many times you were reffered to a mod for being bad !!!

 

I'm pretty sure that referrals are the number of members you've brought to the site, not the number of members that have brought you (which could really possibly only be one).
