Chain of Memories What if?

I was thinking what if Axel was never sent to castle oblivion to stop Marluxia would his plan work? Or would Sora and the others find another way to win in the end whats your veiw on the subject

 

There would still be people who want to rebel against the Organization.

 

Sora would still own Marluxia with or without Axels help.
Even if Marluxias plan did work...
He couldn't take out Xemnas lol

 

Axel took out several members of that resistance. If things had panned out differently, Sora might have never regained his memories, even if he had won, and Namine might not have agreed to help him. During one fight, Marluxia was challenged by Axel. Marluxia used Namine as a shield to stop Axel/Sora from hurting him, then turned Sora on Axel. It was part of that, and what Namine had done to Sora, plus he helped her earn her freedom, that made her want to help him in return. Without Axel, Sora would have had to go through more levels of organization peoples, and that would have slowed him down. Whether or not he and Riku would have found each other is only speculation. I think everything would have turned out alright, because it is also Disney, and Square Enix seems to like the happy ending as well.

 

I think that zexion would still be alive and rescue everyone! :ninjacat:

 

The only way that Axel would not have been sent to Castle Oblivion would be if Xemnas (and probably Saix) didn't know about Marluxia's plan. Axel is the Org's assassin, hired to take out traitors, which is why he was sent. He got his proof, and did everything necessary to follow his orders and keep his own life in order.

I doubt that Xemnas and Saix would not have known that Marluxia was planning betrayal. Hell, I bet Xigbar would have found out as well. So if Axel wasn't sent, chances are Marluxia's plans to betray the Org would fall right into place into one of Xemnas plans that would not only take out the traitors, but then he would have not just one Keyblader in his hands, but maybe Riku as well. Riku might escape or defeat Marluxia himself, who knows.
