Kingdom Hearts II What if...

Hey everyone, more discusion coming your way.

What if Disney wasn't incorporated with the Kingdom Hearts series? What if it was only Final Fantasy? Would you be able to visit Dalmasca? Midgar? Spira?
Or just Pixar? Monster's Inc.? Toy Story?
Various anime worlds? Feudal Japan? Outer Space? Wealthy High Schools? Private Academies?

What do you think? What adventures and tasks would Sora partake in if he were in a non-Disney world?

"Task one: Find Kytes and Vaan and get them back to the shop."
"Task two: Help Yuki knock out Zero or his blood-craving could cause his own death!'
"Task three: Save Woody from Cid with the help of the other mis-shapen toys!"

The possibilities are endless. What if?

i'm guessing you could if it was only final fantasy i don't know about the pixar and anime worlds though.....

 

Tot Story and Pixar are Disney too........
And it would be totally different without Disney.

and the characters that wasn't exist in kingdom hearts will exist...

I'm thinking that kingdom hearts wouldn't be around because without the disney part you lose some of the main characters which tesuya needed to make the series.

And on a more on topic note, I quite like my Kingdom Hearts with the overabundance of Disney.

Yes, as most of you have pointed out the game wouldn't work without Disney; that's why it's in there. I did understand that as I posted this discussion. I enjoy the Disney addition myself but Final Fantasy, or rather, more of it would satisfy me greatly.

Going to the Deep Jungle with Tidus and Zack at my side would be quite cool. Or perhaps the assistance of Vaan and Balthier? Very nice.

But from this raises a new discussion: if Kingdom Hearts can't survive (erm.. wrong word but whatever) without Disney then how about this: what Disney world that isn't incorporated should be in the game, in your opinion. I say that a really interesting world to add would be a world where you got turned into something, similar to The Lion King world, The Pride Lands.

A Sora llama? For the Emperor's New Groove? Wow that'd be great.

I think it'd still be fun. Aimed at older kids, but still fun. Imo, Disney just supplies the worlds and characters. There hasnt been any major disney bosses...all of the final bosses were SE characters. I think BBS is straying slowly and slowly away from disney as more kh-pure characters are coming.

If you took out the disney and just put final fantasy then you'd have ANOTHER final fantasy spinoff that probably wouldn't deliver. And it'd be kind of difficult to explain all the stuff about the heart cuz most of the characters in final fantasy have some pretty screwed up hearts themselves. and there probably wouldn't be enough characters unless they brought characters from like the original final fantasys or something

 

I have to agree that it would be a different game entirely, more like FFT games than Kingdom Hearts. FFT has had elements of other games and so that's probably what it would become instead and there are quite a few elements of Disney in the game. I doubt Sora would be wandering around with a giant Key and there would most likely not be Princesses of Heart or the whole thing with the Heartless etc and Kingdom Hearts. The plot would be altered and storyline so Nomura would have had to create some other threat that made sense.

 

Kingdom Hearts wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts without Disney. It's just natural.

Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind going to Midgar or having Zack as an ally. I loved Zack! It sucked that he had to go! :(

I mean, it'd be nice to have other characters other than Donald and Goofy as your partners, but we get that anyway. We got Auron, and he was from FFX. So that was okay. And then we got to fight alongside Tifa, Cloud, Yuffie, and Leon, didn't we? Wasn't that a little satisfying? Yes, it'd be nice to have more of them in there, but atleast we got them.

I don't think it'd be the same without Disney. It just wouldn't have the same feel and it'd be like another Final Fantasy. We got The World That Never Was, Hollow Bastion, Destiny Islands, and End of the World as worlds that aren't Disney related. But I do understand that they're not Final Fantasy worlds either, so...

All in all, I don't think Disney's going anywhere because Kingdom Hearts would slowly die out if it was just like Final Fantasy, which it would be if Disney wasn't involved.

 

I think it would be awesome... You'd have Vincent Valentine as an ally lol xD

And you get to fight against loads of bosses, e.g Hojo lol xD

It would be aimed for the older generation though... Still, it would be awesome...

If Disney wasn't in Kingdom Hearts, it'd just be another Final Fantasy. Without Disney, the game would be aimed at an older crowd than what it currently is. It'd be cool, but then the FF characters wouldn't be cameos.

 

Well, if there was no Disney it wouldn't give it the falsely generalized kiddish appearance that it already has by ignorant gamers who haven't even played it.

 

Meh. I think that it needs some Disney elements to be Kingdom Hearts. Without Disney, you have no firends. That kind of defeats the purpose of the "My friends are my power!".

 

Final Fantasy XIIII: Kingdom Hearts. Perhaps Final Fantasy is in it's proper place in Kingdom Hearts. Sora got to fight alongside Auron, Leon, Cloud, and several others. Yuna, Rikku, and Paine were also present (in super annoying sprite form) as well as Yuffie, Tifa, and Sephiroth. I would love to see Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII in an upcoming Kingdom Hearts game. Perhaps if Cloud is present, as well as the late Aerith, then Zack may be present as well. I personally would very much enjoy fighting alongside Zack and Cloud in a three-on-three battle against Genesis, Sephiroth, and Angeal. Along the storyline Angeal probably wouldn't fight, but perhaps he'll change his mnd to my entertainment. ^-^

Twilight Town also hosts several Final Fantasy characters, and the Organization has some members that are based around Final Fantasy characters. Axel is alike to Reno, Demyx is alike to Gippal. There are several other resemblances but typing them all up would consume too much time.

I think I can say that I'm satisfied with Kingdom Hearts and their side character choices.
