Face it, we miss video games series that are dead, yet have fans. Our favorite game series die off because of lack of funds, disagreements, or the creator leaves the game's company. I found it appropriate to talk about this matter, because I have favorites that have died off. Examples would be Wild Arms, Bushido Blade, and the classic Spyro the Dragon series. But what about you guys? What do you miss?
Also, Age of Empires. Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings is probably my all-time favorite PC game. *sigh* I miss building my own empire...
Megaman X. With Inafune out of Capcom, X9 will probably never become a reality. ; ; Or Megaman ZX3. Prince of Persia is also something I miss, but only because the 2008 game still hasn't gotten a sequel and its been overshadowed by Assassin's Creed. Those two are the only ones that come to mind right now.
The old DMC series, I never personally played it, but it looks awesome and I really wish it had gotten another sequel instead of the reboot.
I miss classic Sonic. I don't want the level playing itself, I want to play the level. While some people don't like this game, I have fond memories of it, I miss Drawn To Life. Never played the sequel, but I miss it none the less. While this is not completely dead, it is mostly dead, 2D Zelda, the DS titles don't count because they are bordering into 3D Zelda. Banjo Kazooie anyone? I definitely miss those games.
