Im not asking what the coolest kayblade design is, im simply asking overall, what game had the best ketblade designs?
My personal opinion would be KH2, With my personal favorite being either Oblivion, Circle of Life, or Bond of Flame.
    whats yours? :)

I kinda liked the keyblades from Days, the designs there seemed cooler to me, and less related to the disney worlds, as shown in every other KH game. Their designs were more mysterious to me, and i liked it that way. My favorites design-wise are leviathan, true light soar, fate rebellion, and astral blast

Of the games I've played I think probably Kingdom Hearts II. The originals are a close call but Kingdom Hearts II had a lot more and more I wanted to use--though Oathkeeper is my all time favorite, and that's in both. The ones in Birth by Sleep have me really disappointed, I don't think I changed the defaults until near the very end. They were just really ugly.

KH2, simply because there were more of them than KH1 and all of the originals were pure awesome and have become some of the most popular Keyblades. Though in terms of originality and quality KH1 probably had the best.

As the series has progressed the Keyblades have really gone down in terms of how cool they are, with the ones in BBS being just awful aside from a select few. This is understandable. As time goes on you run out of ideas, so you can't really fault them for that. Though I will say that DDD kinda got back some of the coolness that BBS was lacking with it's Keyblades.

I won't even talk about Days, I don't know what was going on there.

They had a Diamond Dust and some other weapon that I liked.

Dream Drop Distance keyblades were really cool honestly, the deigns were made fit for theme of the game. I don't understand why soo many people would complain about the keyblades just because it "Didn't look tough". Keyblades arnt ALWAYS suppose to look tough all time plus not to forget the keyblade you unlock after beating the game.
    THOSE look badss

I felt KH2's had the best designs. Most of them were pretty original and looked interesting. Of course, a few of them were in kh1 as well but the ones that were new to KH2 I liked the design of more than the other games' keyblade designs.
Some of my favorites were Star seeker, circle of life, Decisive pumpkin and Guardian soul.

I think KH2 had the best designs as well. the keyblades kept with the spirit of the keys from KH1, but improved on their strong points. The colors of the keys in KH2 worked a lot better, in my opinion, and most importantly (to me) the scale of the keyblade in KH2, because Sora is older and bigger, makes the keyblade look a lot more natural and fitting for the characters. In KH1, the keyblades looked huge on sora, which I'm sure was intended, and not even the massive keys like Metal Chocobo or anything like that, even the basic Kingdom Key and Oblivion looked too big for Sora, whereas in KH2, Sora has 'grown into' the keyblade and even large keys like Fenrir and Ultima look natural and usable by Sora. Part of this is the newer battle stance as well, but to me, the scale is huge into how they look in these games.

Oh by far Kingdom Hearts 2 had the best keyblades. My favorites are Bond of Flame, Oblivion, Oathkeeper, Ultima, Fatal Crest, and by far my favorite out of all of them: Two Across. It's sooo effing sexy. Lmao.

Ermahgawd.. Birth By Sleep's keyblades were SO bad. They only had a few cool ones. VERY disappointing set of keys. /:

In recom you're stuck with Kingdom key however, you do equip other key chain, but i don't think it change its form.
I guess KH 2 by far ! KH 1 had some neat ones, but most felt like they were fake blend or just too flat.
Chain is a mix of Keyblades, but you only uses Kingdom Key really.
358/2 days are so random and ugly :(... so only ones that are badass are KH2.

I don't even know what happened in 358/2... Those Keyblades were pretty much just pallette swaps of each others with different abilities...

I 'd have 2 favourite keyblades of all time.
First, the Keyblade Ventus got in radiant garden when he met Lea and Isa.
And second, Roxas second Keyblade when he fought against Riku.

These two have an awesome design and, except of the original Keyblade, they do stuck in my mind the best.

I have to say KH2 because it was the first entry that really showed off, maybe even began to pride itself, on weapon diversity/customization. Though Days did have an interesting variety of Keyblades, I will agree that there were more than a few palette swaps.

My favorites are the Oathkeeper, Kingdom Key and Way to the Dawn.

The only Kickass Keyblades from BBS to me was the Void Gear, the Unknown Keyblade, and if you had the Final Mix versions and that ISO mod code file thing the X-Blade. No wait hang on also the Crown Unlimit keyblade from the Arena yea that one too.

I think 358 Had better keyblades of them all because all of them were G Money. No all of them weren't like every other KH game with the same design and all of that.

I never played Coded so I don't know what the keyblades are like in that game

DDD Haven't played it so I can't say

Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix had better Keyblades than Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix at some aspects. Sephy's, and the Ice Titan was just so serious when you got them. I will that I love the Ultima Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 2 more than I do in 1. BBS Also has the KH2 colors for the Ultima just the KH1 Style =.=

My interests are very mixed when it comes to Keyblades, because I sometimes draw my own designs. I don't exactly look for Keyblades with an actual theme to them, (Although some, like the Rumbling Rose from KH2, looked alright.) instead I look for the emotion that the blade conveys. For example, the Bond of Flame gave me what felt like a fiery sense of the "Odd Duck" of the Organization, whereas the Oathkeeper and the Oblivion represents Roxas's promise to Xion and his anger to see her die. (This also counts for Sora, but in a different way, the Oathkeeper representing Kairi's bond, and the Oblivion representing Riku's bond. If you ask me, Square Enix did a pretty good job on those two.)
But if I had to pick, 358/2 was my better pick. Sure, the graphics were pretty grainy, but the Keyblades all represented the same emotion to me: Mystery, abstract, and a hell of a lot of kick-ass mixed in.
What got me the most was the X-Blade. I started the entire KH series with BBS, and when I saw that thing, I was like, "Daaaaaaaaaamnnn, that is one hell of a key!"

KH 2 had awesome keyblades, but BBS had cool ones too--afterall, there were different keyblades for each of Terra, Ventus, and Aqua.

Actually, I liked Kingdom Hearts the first one the most.

I just like the old, rough and ragged keyblades compared to the new ones. Ones that looked like they were forged out of pure metal and twisted with flames. But that's just me.

358/2 Days. I just love most of the Keyblade's designs on the game. Even if the graphics are terrible. But then again, it's a DS game.
