    it's pronounced pown, it doesn't stand for anything. IT just means own in n00b context.

    Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".

    It's a gamers word for owned. Or burn or something like that. Although no one uses burn anymore.
