358/2 Days What do you think the title means?

358/2 seems like an odd name for a game, and even appealing. I'm trying to get some sort of theory on what it means.

I think it's like something about 358 days might be the usual living period for a nobody or that the longest one has lasted but Roxas' time there was cut in have to 179 days(358 divided by 2).

What do you guys think?

 

358 days is one year according so someone, and something happens on the 179th day.

Just a thought.

 

One year is 365 days..

I like the idea of Roxas' time being shorter than others, but because of the way we're supposed to pronounce it, (three five eight over two days) I'm not sure if dividing it in half is the right idea.

There are 365 days in a year. The game takes place in between CoM and KH2, which are a year apart from each other. Roxas spent 7 (we can count it as seven) days in the digital Twilight Town. 365 minus 7 is 358. So I guess it's about how long Roxas spent his days in the Organization. The /2 is a bit more mysterious, but I'm guessing it means 358 days shared by two (Sora and Roxas). I guess you can make the connection.

well it might be365 days a year, or something, and there was something to do with the 7 days he spent in twilight town, but maybe two of the days were real?

 

The seven days minus 365 is totally valid and I agree with it, but how could 358 days be shared by Sora and Roxas? Roxas is understandable, but Sora has been lving a full life of 16 or so years. Unless something like Sora was burst into Destiny Islands like Kairi, but everyone THOUGHT he lived there for all his life, and therefor Destiny Islands directed him into his Destiny, hence the name Destiny Islands. Or something like that.

 

Okay, I know 365 days are in a year, but it could be different, like the 7 days in Twilight Town, so I still think something happens on the 179th day of the year.

According to someone now means "According to Roxas"

 

Wasn't there 2 days left of "summer" when Roxas left twilight town? or combined with Sora or what ever?
That could be were the 2 comes into play.

 

Nomura was drunk when he thought up :Coded. Maybe that same night he thought up the title 358/2 days. =o

 

When I see the /2 part, I always think that it's like one life in two parts. Just like Sora and Roxas.

I still believe it means incomplete days, and the 358 has to do with the number of days the game covers.

 

I have figured what the 358 meant, since it was kind of obvious, at least in my opinon. It was the "/2" that stumped me, yet that makes so much sense that it connects to Sora and Roxas. Not to mention is excellently explained altogether. I totally agree. I wouldn't be surprised if that was exactly it.

 

well i think the /2 part is there becuase Roxas is the other half of Sora. as for the 358 part... i have no idea

i believe its the time Roxas spent with the organisation... i mean there are 365 but Roxas wasn't really with the organisation for all those days... he got attacked by Riku before Sora woke up and dropped of at a fake Twilight town. The /2 may be that Sora had two hearts inside him when he was mean

 

I read something about the true meaning of the title but I can't remember about it.

 

I believe it's 385/2 days because That's the amount of time Roxas spent in Organization XIII. I think they explained this in an interview with the creatorsof the game. :/
