I think that before Saix was a nobody , his complete was fighting with one of the Organization , then the guy he was fighting defeated him and he died.
Then came Saix , the guy who ever was fighting him must of gave him that scar on him face.

 

Well,you have to have your heart stolen by a Heartless to become a Nobody.And I think the scar is just to show off how were-wolfish he is.I don't really know.

 

I think it's 'cos the Organization all have 'X' in their name. Maybe it appeared when he lost his heart to show significance in him changing by becoming a nobody?

Yet, that sounds kinda stupid. To make myself sound less like an idiot, I'll go for battle scar. Or maybe he was attacked by a wolf, which gave him his Berserk ability.. That's if you've heard the myths about werewolfs attacking humans XD

Same reason Xigbar has them. Im convinced that theyre connected [pointy ears, yellow eyes, scars] and that itll be revealed in KH3
I serisouly dont know how/why...

Perhaps Nomura thought itd be a cool character design, i really dont know...

I was wondering about Saix's scar. It probably has something to do with why he is a beserker, since it covers most of his face when he's going beserk. I hope it's not just a cheap aspect of character design, cause that would be dumb. Nomura will probably have a story behind it.

Well, here's one possible theory: (sing it out loud or in your head)

Saix got mad,
pulled out his claymore,
and tried to kill Xigbar.
But Xigbar shot his hand,
and his claymore flew.
It hit him right in the face,
and a made a big fat X.

Maybe Squall (Leon for you people who haven't played Final Fantasy VIII) decided that he wasn't the only one who should have a scar across his face like that. So he decided to give one to Saix?

I think Saix didn't like the like the letter X & complained to Xemnas cause all their names have X in it. So Xemnas got angry at his constant whining & slashed his face.
