What do you think about Mods, Admins, Forum Helpers etc.

Well the title says it all. So what do you think about them? And never mind what I said about the be nice thing so never mind.

 

Well if thats the case I cant give my honest opinion... But I respect them and thats all that matters.

 

Well, this isnt mean but not nice either but hey its my opinion. Sometimes they can be snotty and think their all that because they have been here longer than us and have more posts, but thats because they dont do much else other than come on this site. I try my best to get as many posts in as I can and I actually do hope to be one sometime soon...

i think that forum helpers are pretty much useless 'cause they're just regular members with a green name, they have no power (even though they are officially have power) and all they can do is go to a mod/admin to tell them to lock something or tell on someone........which any regular member can do >___>

now mods i have respect for (most of them >__>) and i know they help keep this site running, but i think we have to many mods and to many mods that barely log on or do anything (not naming anyone)

admins have beyond my respect........thats all i gotta say to them cause they are just amazing and i can just wish to be able to be a fraction of what they are ^-^

 

then who are the ppl with red names?

 

The supa special awesome people.

People with purple names are super mods.

Green - FH.

Blue - Admin.

 

As much as I have experience the power of admins and mods of this site, my opinions shall ramain unsaid.

 

the one's who actually take their role seriously i respect.

But... In all serious-ness, like, how?

 

There are a few that well...get on my nerves....but overall,I like them...
they can be a lil harsh at times...but I think it would be a cool goal to achieve....having a cool blue name...

 

I respect what they do. They do it for the best cause so I don't blame it if they can seem to be harsh at times. Nothing disrespectful intended. So basically, I have my respects.

 

Every single person on the staff has shown they deserved to eb there. I have respect for all of them, and personally, those who think we're snotty, it's from us having to sped every waking minute cleaning up after you guys...:/

Mods have a tough job and I would know. We put a lot of work itno keeping you guys safe and making sure the forum runs smotthly, and to be honest I'm proud of what I do.

I hope at least a few of you are thankful for us.

 

In terms of power yes we are just normal members, but not everything in the forum is solved by locking, closing or moving threads, it's more than that.

I like the think being a forum helper a stepping stone to being a mod. Though we have no powers, but some people do look up to us, and in mainy ways we show a good example of a good forum member. (though you don't have to be a staff member to be a good member)

 

I think that all the admin staff need respecting. They do a difficult job, keeping unruly posters under control and making the forum a great place to be. Without the admin monitoring and checking the threads, a lot of problems would arise. Plus they post with the rest of us and join in with a good spirit.

I respect you all.

 

Ok, some of you don't quite understand the point of the "Forum Helper" position, so let me refresh your memories in case you have forgotten.

A forum helper IS a staff member. They have every free say as a normal staff member would have. The only difference is that forum helpers are like members we have chosen that we think we can make great staff out of, and are expected to progress once we have gotten them to that point. Forum helpers aren't just 'regular members with green names', like NRA stated and believes. They are members that are next in line for moderator. They are no greater or no less than anyone else.


Now. . .


Red = Reg. mod.

Purple = Super Mod.

Green = Forum Helper

Blue = Administrator.



I hope that clarified the confusion for those of you who think FH were useless, and for those of you who did not know the respective staff colors.

 

If you want my honest opinion, FHs are useless.

The "stepping stone to modship". Actually, I love that metaphor. But that's all it is. And that could easily be done without the need for bright green names for the FHs.

But my feelings for the staff, well, I don't respect any of them except cloudfinalfantasy...

I love how you say that whilst 2 admins are logged on.

 

Ok well you guys think that your all that with your flashy colorful names, and think you have been here like way longer than anyone else whilst many of us have been around equally as long, but I do want to become an FH, Admin, Mod, or SuperMod. I dont want this for the "coolness", but for the power and duty of helping to maintain and watch over a website...
