What do Creative Writers do when they can't sleep?

Write.... Write until words start blurring together, your chest hurts, and your roommate screams when she walks in because you so look like a zombie...

Even then, I might write with my eyes closed till my brain STFO! @~@



Seriously, my brain is like: "HEYHEYLISTENLISTENIDEAIDEAHEYHEYLISTENLISTENNOSLEEPFORYOULOOKATYOUHITTINGSTAYINGUPFORTWENTYFOURHOURSWITHOUTANAPYAY!"

 

All I do is play RPGs 'til I can't think except in stats and MP costs

Must be great not having writer's block

 

Oh I had one for at least three years....

My brain recently has been unclogged to make up for the time...

It's a curse/blessing. T~T Can't decide which yet...

 

I lie awake and stare at the dark ceiling, willing myself to go to sleep. When that doesn't work, I get up, raid the fridge, and write fanfic stuff that in the morning, I read over and can't remember why I ever thought it was a good idea. i.e., the beginnings of an Avengers Doctor Who crossover wherein the Master crash-lands in New York.

eh, anytime it happens to me, the poetry i write is total crap, but i get better ideas after i go through all the bad ones. so yes. both.

 

I write about my friends when I can't sleep.
