Kingdom Hearts III What be onward after Kingdom Hearts 3?

I thought it be interesting that who might be the new main Antagonist after the Xehanort saga is over. Also, is it still possible that Xehanort might be appearing or at least be mentioned? What could be the new worlds, guest appearance, playaable characters, etc. What are do you guys expect after 3?

 

I'm sure he'll be at least mentioned... if Sora remains a protagonist, or at least a character, and I'm pretty sure Nomura has said that Sora & co. will continue to be around after the Xehanort Saga has come to a close. He was such a big part of our trio's lives, how could they not at least mention him?

The thing is, I'm not sure I want the story to continue with Sora & co. I mean, there's so much surrounding him, so many characters attached to him, it would be pretty tough to move onto to an entirely new plotline with Sora. I mean, KHIII will hopefully tie up all loose ends, but I don't want it to be about "lol 13 Sora spawns" again. Not to say I'd like to see the last of Roxas, for example, but I'd like to see all that wrapped up so we can move on.

I think it could be really interesting to see fresh characters. I still want the games to have reference to the Xehanort arc, take place in the same universe (Heartless, Keyblades, etc.), but with something completely new.

I suppose I don't want the series to be dragged down by some of the weight it has accumulated over the years. If Nomura can pull it off with the current batch of characters that will be awesome, I love them all and have formed a real attachment to them. But if we do keep them, I don't want to see things being reused.

 

Enemies of Light, preferably led by a sympathetic Light-based anti-villain who contrasts against Xehanort's unsympathetic Darkness-based sociopathy.

Heartless will always be there , or until some one opens KINGDOM HEARTS and get rid of the darkness.
Don't know what they'll do as most worlds of disney are already done, but in KH1 "disney plot" was basicaly all the plot, by the end it was expanded to Ansem, and then the Organization so other group could emerge of nowere again..

 

I think it will be completely fresh, but just in the same universe. There can still be references to Sora and co., but not like nagging you about it.

 

As far as I know, unless they changed it, Nomura confirmed long ago that after KH3, Sora will still be the protagonist. Hopefully, we'll get over this obsession with Kingdom Hearts. I know it's the main theme of the series, but goddamn, let's move on to something else. I do like the idea of the series focusing more on light, but it can also focus more on Twilight or in Between. Riku's affinity to it and the Nobodies have made me quite interested in the nature of this "element" (or lack thereof, I guess).

If Sora wasn't the main character, a job-select thing would be awesome (Warrior of Light, Darkness, or Twilight), even if that's too Final Fantasy. Then again, I guess we can do that with Sora at the beginning; instead of choosing Sword, Staff, Shield, we can choose Light, Darkness, Twilight and that affects his stat growth.

As for the enemies, I wouldn't mind if they didn't create a new one, but I hope the new saga sticks with the same type of "monsters." I'm not a fan of changing the enemy game-to-game (Heartless, Nobody, Unversed, Dream Eater). They can definitely find a way to make one of the current monsters more menacing, as they should.

Location? I think a game entirely in the Realm of Darkness would be badass. Maybe someone turns into a Heartless similar to Xehanort's Heartless and tries to rule the RoD and build an army? Something like that.

 

He/she is similar to Eraqus, but has actual tragic justification: he/she lost everything to Darkness, just like TAV, and now wants to "justify the means" against Darkness, with MX-like intelligence to back it up. But unlike MX, he/she actually treats his/her followers with genuine respect, to the point of mirroring Sora's devotion to his own friends.

 

guess if Kingdom hearts (the true light filled one) is opened and the world returns to light, that would just reset the events of the past, so unversed would start appearing again,
or to balence the world after the light flows from KH a dark keyblade wielder is created to bring a balence to the world light and dark,, guess it all depends on how KH3 ends

 

Can't see a whole game happening in the dark realm, as it would lost all the disney content. Even games like BBs that were dedicated exclusive to explain "Kh own universe" had to have some disney input.. It is a disney game!
I would like to see others Seekers of Darkness that are not Xehanort. The begning of the key blade wars seems great.
It seems so great to me that our "biggest weapon for peace" is a tool of darkness! The world was pure light, the keyblade was made by gried people trying to get the light for them, so in a sense they were originaly "Seekers of Darkness" (even though they were seeking light, they gave birth to darkness), and than some of them noticed that capturing the light would cause CHAOS in all world (was one first), so some Seekers of Darkness became "Wielders of Light"
(It's like the reverse Jedi turning sith paradigm of Star wars).

I would much like to know more about the Seekers, the only ones that we know are born from the light, and than turned into darkness, a pure Dark Being User of Keyblade (Like Sora Heartless on Codded) would be preatty much great for new villians, with help of Disney's villians of course.

 

I have the worst idea ever: make a Zelda timeline with Kingdom Hearts! Sora dies just before he "defeats" Xehanort in KH3, and a new parallel world is born. We then see a boy named Soku (who was raised by darkness, but has only light inside him) trying to right the dark world and fulfill it with light.

Yeah, I'm crazy.
