What bands did you grow up with?

The question is pretty much spoken for itself. xD

I do believe growing up with Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Dead Kennedys. But what I still listen to now, would be New Found Glory and Pennywise, which were the bands I still can't get over. Their sound was pretty much the most incredible I heard of the post-punk era of the late 90's through the early 21st century.

Another great band I listened to was The Smashing Pumpkins, who I so happen to be patiently waiting for to come to the Pearl later this October. But hey, hold on, let's not forget Nirvana and Sublime. But other than that, I can't remember any others, ahaha.

S club 7 and stuff.

god embarassing now i know, but hell i make up for it with my smooth charm and love of 3 doors down.

 

I listened to the Backstreet Boys xD.

I still love Selena, SHE'S THE BEST!!!!

 

Led Zeppelin, Smash Mouth, Eric Clapton, aaaaaaaaaand Jimi Hendrix.

 

I didn't really have any real favourites when I was little. Whatever was on the radio was good for me. =3

 

Eagles, Journey, Aerosmith, and stuff I don't care for now.

 

Evanescence, Linkin Park, and 3 Doors Down. Evanescence and 3DD remain two of my favorites, and the older LP songs are too. I didn't like their new album much.
I know in my kindergarten class the Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Britney Spears were popular. And that Christinia Aug-something, who apparently has fallen off the face of the Earth pretty much after her first album. >.>;;
Never really listened to them, though; I didn't actually listen to music much until I was like...twelve, since the rest of my time was consumed by video games and reading books (lolwut?). xD

 

The Police, sting (although that's not a band), Smash Mouth, and some Dutch artists you guys don't know :3

 

heey your from the netherlands???...well back to topic.....I didn't really grow up with a certain music.....but I sometimes heard the music from my dad. (coldplay).....and after that it becames my favourite band.

I grew up on the Beatles, since my brother loved them. And my parents would play U2 albums whenever we went on a long drive (they still do).

Guns 'n' Roses, Areosmith, Def leppard, MSG, love spit love,Queen,Bon jovi ect.

My Mum Loved Take That, Boyzone And all That,, And My Dad Liked AC/DC And All That...So I Grew up with them bands...So my music taste is really Wierd,,Lolzy =)

 

I basically just listened to whatever was on the radio. I did listen to the Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC once in a while though.
