Anyone seen any ads for this game? It looks pretty cool actually, seems to be like Prince of Persia with mix of Tomb Raider and No More Heroes. Also seems to have a Kill Bill Quentin Tarintino-esque feel to it. Comes out this fall. Might check the reviews before buying though.

Exactly my thoughts. And although this isnt major dont the graphics seem sorta bad...? I'm hoping because of the size of buildings, cities, etc.

 

I can't actually tell how this game will go from that advert since the advert itself is like one of those "Oh look, something new" sort of things. To be honest it could go either way depending on which type of gamer picks it up.
From first look I can see aspects of a hell of a lot of games. So i'm guessing this to be a mediocre game.

The name is supposed to be a play of words on the gameplay. It's got fluid gameplay. Fluid=wet.

 

Yeah, the trailer looks cool.

Look up real Gameplay, it suddenly looks like shit.

 

It looks okay, trailer probably makes it seem better than it is.

But omglol. I want to cosplay that chick XD

 

Why do trailers of a game look cool but not the real game?

When I saw the gameplay of this, I was like "I never knew you could bend like that."

 

Well...
1. you kind of answered it there yourself
2. I was repeating what many reviewers have said (gamespot, ign etc.)
3. Game's not out yet. Not that I care if its bad or not, but its sorta hard to shut it down without trying it.

 

It kinda reminds me of Kill Bill

 

I just finished playing the demo and I have to say my judgment on the game has changed.

At first I thought the game was going to do horrible from the gameplay videos but now that I got my hands on it the gameplay isn't that bad. You can do various things like jump in the air, slide, or wall run and when you fire your gun during one of those things you'll instantly enter slo-mo. If you want to get out of slo-mo just hit the jump button. The game has a grindhouse art style and it's similar to DMC3 by how ridiculous the moves are. There's also a score multiplyer at the top to entice you to keep up your combos.

There's also a rage mode that turns everything red and the blood white which looked great. Also, sliding on the floor then slicing a guy with your sword is amazing.

My only problem so far is Rubi's running animations. It's really awkward, but I'm totally going to be renting this game for sure.
