Well, looks like I'll be going to the hospital soon

I have a fractured finger and a broken tendon, yet I can't be attended till Monday. I'm actually really concerned that I will never be able to use my finger again because by Monday, it could be too late.

I'll have a friend updating for me (if it's allowed just while I can't use my hand (using a phone right now, yay thumbs!)).

It might not be Monday, but I know for sure that it'll be next week, so expect me to just disappear.

 

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we most certainly hope you get well.

 

you will be able to use your finger just fine, people have gone months without knowing things were broken and they have healed without a problem. just don't put too much strain on it and at least try to splint it with medical tape until monday. ('m a premed major fyi)

 

Try not to put too much strain on yourself man. Trust me, stress and hospital visits are not a good combination. I hope it all gets resolved without any complications.

If it wasn't recommended that you be rushed to the ER, you should be perfectly fine. When it comes to tendons things get a bit delicate, but even if it's a little trashed a minor surgery can make it usable again even if it's never quite right.

Are you sure you didn't just sprain it?

It could be similar to when I injured my left ankle on June 23. (See post 12.)

THAT KID IS STALKING ME

I was screwing around with my friend, poking her lightly and ruffling her hair (this is not unusual for us, we give each other crap like this all the time) and she went to kick my side (she doesn't kick too hard, so in retrospect letting her hit me seems like the better option now xD) and I tried to grab her leg, but I missed and she got my finger instead.

 

Real men would straighten it out and enter a pinky wrestling tournament.

turns out that the idiots were they took me ****ed up and should've taken me to the ER

They took me to a less than preferable place, were all they did was give me pain meds and wrap it in a splint. But turns out, I should've been taken to the ER >.>

It's bruised and wrapped in a splint is all. But it was handled wrongly

They said I'll be ok for a bit, but that I need an appointment this week for surgery

 

Lawsuit lawsuit lawsuit . . . . you can buy yourself a new finger.

But seriously, take it easy and just chill for a couple of days. Obviously don't use that hand, and try and relax. You'll be fine, trust me, i'm not a doctor ^_^
