And I must say it was the saddest thing Ive herd about. I just say a moive about it today and what her and her family and everyone went through at that time was horrible. I was wondering what everyone else thought on her life? Also if I posted this in the wrong place deeply sorry
I was mad! i couldn't believe she died around my age....i wanted to punch a wall.....i drew a picture of her and wrote her happily ever after story to see if she would've lived. I was ashamed to know that my family on germany just stood by and never helped them.....
I know it was real sad...she dies at the age of 15 and she had such dreams. And its sad....6 days after she died her camp was set free...
It's one of the reasons her story has been inspirational and influential. The fact a young teen was writing about their experience in a war, everyone can resonate from a young persons perspective on such destructive events. I'm sure a lot of other people, whether young or old suffred a similar fate to her, it's just that Anne Frank's story was recovered and eventually published. It is saddening how many people, especially the young suffer from wars because men argue about what land is theirs, it's pathetic.
It's true, over six million Jews suffered the same, or similar fates as Anne Frank. The hard part to accept is that the American soldiers who were fighting in Germany, as well as many Russian, British, (and other nationalities) didn't even know the concentration camps existed until they were stumbled upon. They couldn't feed the people who were "housed" there, because they would drink and eat themselves to death. The Holocaust was a war waged by Hitler against the Jews, persecuting them. The ironic part is that he himself didn't even fit the description of a perfect citizen, and could have been taken for what he called a "Jew", had he not been the leader of Germany at the time.
