Anyone seen/read this? I just read the first volume and now I'm going to watch the Anime and read the rest of the manga, I like it a lot so far, even took some pics and put it in my sig. It's very realistic, and also hilarious at the same time. It sort of gets into some psychological issues like loneliness, etc.

An interesting series. I imagined a series that tackles one of life's social phenomena in an innovative way, and for the most part I think it has.

Of course the manga is far more vivid in terms of some of the more 18+ themes, since the anime was forced (inevitably) to be more discreet regarding some of the more raw taboo items littering the series--which are usually supposed to be comical anyway.

Definitely one of the more amusing "Slice of Life" series I've enjoyed, though it's not for everyone.

Mind telling us what the actual story is? From the description you guys gave, it sounds pretty good, but I need more motivation to search the internet for it.

Taken from Anime News Network (i.e. Anime synopsis):

It seems deranged, and frankly if the series didn't have comedy in it, it'd probably be very odd. But they tackle some ideas of the human psyche and society and add some humour into it. It has some bias toward Japanese culture--to a certain degree--but it's enjoyable nonetheless.
