Weirdest Anime Plot?

I was bored and reading some manga. So what is the weirdest plot of an anime of manga that you know of. I don't read manga that much so if you have some you just want to recommend some please tell me about it.

The weirdest so far that I've read is BioMeat. It's a manga where the world's supply of meat has run out, so they create a bio-engineered life form (that looks like a starfish crossed with a dog) to use as meat, it eats trash and multiplies that way. One day it gets out into the real world and starts eating everything including humans and it centers around the few survivors, This manga is filled with very bloody scenes

 

i thought chobbits was a little weird,just my opinion

Same here. But I'd also say Skip Beat(even though it's one of my favs). It's a little bazaar about some things in there.

 

did bo-bo-bobobo even have a plot? it just went off into random stuff... that's probably why it didn't last long...

There's this anime called Mirage of Blaze, I always watch it when I'm sleepy, but the plot is strange.

 

I unfortunately turned to a channel with that on to see two guys kissing :(

Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Not only is the plot weird, but the atmosphere sometimes gives me the creeps.
Plus, the title of the anime is sure creepiness, yet genius.

 

neon genesis evangelion......the ending....was really weird and the movie with the alternate one too

fooly cooly, the ending had explanation , but some parts were just....what?

( Despite FLCL, obviously. )

NGE was very strange at the end, I must agree.
Then, when I saw the movies, I was seriously all "How did this happen so fast?"
Paranoia Agent ... ( sigh. ) I can't even begin to explain how freaky that anime was. Everything from the soundtrack to the storyline, it was all just plain ... "whaaaa?" xD
Bubblegum Crisis did get very freaky further on into the future of the series. Then when the 'sequel' came out, it just went bizzare. In a good way, however.

So, I must say I agree with you are a majority of those animes.

Oh lol! That's gotta be up there near the top. I don't think the creators know.

 

I'd say Dragon Drive...the boy goes into a virtual reality game and when he gets into some kinda tournament, everyone in that world (which turns out to be Earth's twin) is like, "OMFG! YOUR DRAGON IS THE LEGENDARY SAVOIR! YOU HAVE TO GO DEFEAT THE BAD GUYS! But the bad guys are actually the ones that started the game!"
The dragon's cute, though. Named Chibi and likes to sleep. xD

And then there's InuYasha, where every chapter there's a new demon/Naraku.
Mostly Naraku going, "Kukuku" and then getting blasted by Kaze no Kizu but somehow surviving anyway.

 

Kannazuki No Miko. It's not that it doesn't have a plot, it's a great plot [the infamous LET'S SAVE THE WORLD plot], a good story, but the way you have to save the world was just hilarious to me. It's a Yuri animé, very mild . . . so you've got two prestresses that must save the world . . . you've got magic, some more magic, then some killer robots. xD The show is suddenly like Transformers, with the robots being the key to saving the world. I LOL'ed bad.

 

Lucky star is pretty random. In the begining, they are talking about food.
Its pretty cute though.

 

I love Evangelion. They should have gone farther than the End of Evangelion. It would of made it much less confusing.

Seriously, at least the manga ended. The anime never really had an actual ending though...

Lucky Star doesn't have a plot. It's Slice of Life genre.

I'd have to go with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for the weirdest plot. A girl who has the powers to change reality, but doesn't know about them, creates the SOS Brigade, which its true purpose is to keep her from being bored. The other members are Yuki Nagato, a daty entity, Mikuru Asahina, a time traveler, Itsuki Koizumi, an esper (psychic), and Kyon, the only normal human in the bunch. Seriously, the entire show screams WTF. Gotta love the sexual Mikuru harassment, though.

it actually fleshes out Evangelion even better than the series , new characters and new EVA too, and a new girl pilot!!

but DPwolf is right naraku survived for too long, even after getting thrashed
