I'm kind of surprised anyone could remember their dreams in such detail.

Maybe it's just my luck with them. :/

I have nightmares pretty much every time I sleep. I also have night terrors.

About 18 months ago they got so bad that I ended up forcing myself into insomnia, my mind refused to let me sleep because to my mind, keeping me awake was the way it could keep me safe from said dreams.

I had to go to the doctors, they reccommended that I keep a dream diary, the idea being I can confront my dreams and work them out on paper. By doing that apparently I am making the distinction between dreaming and reality and it is meant to help me deal with it better.

Personally I think it is bullshit, I still get them as bad. I have just become more used to it.

Alright, so, I have a doughnut right, and my doughnut is going to be delicious. So I'm heading over to my computer with this delicious doughnut when I look down at my wonderful doughnut to find that it is suddenly swarming with bees. I naturally freak out, my first instinct is to drop it and turn and run away. But as I turn around I see that there are two bees flying straight for my face and before they have time to react they gouge my eyes out with their stingers. The shock and pain from this makes me aware enough to wake up, and I sit there in bed like any normal person does, with their eyes closed tight out of fear. Well, I open my eyes, and my wall has been replaced with a giant industrial fan. It blows me through my wall into my kitchen where my microwave asexually reproduces and shouts hellish atrocities at me, compartment glowing as red as fire for the about an hour until it is time for me to actually wake up.

 

Fun fact: I once nearly broke my arm during a dream. I dreamt I was being stalked, went to backhand the ***** that was stalking me, only I backhanded my bedroom wall instead, that hard I had to have it checked out because I nearly broke it :3
