This is something I've been curious about for a while. Is it possible to be affected by bad weather from other areas? As you know, Hurricane Sandy has been going on in the East, and it's been cloudy and rainy over here, so is it possible we're getting the hurricane weather, but in a minor form?
I really doubt it would reach you all the way in Washington, but yes, it is possible to get side effects even if you're far away from a hurricane. Not really across the country, though.
