in an attempt to tip the scales
I think you've lost what you loved in that mess of details it seemed so
    important at the time
    now you can't even recall
    any names, faces, or lines
it's more the feeling of it all

What do you mean by 'swirling effects'? All I added was a few displacement layers, light, color, and sharpend/blurred some areas. Swirling effects for me means a liquefied layer.

    Love it.

Only thing I could recommend would be a bit more orange, mostly around the light source. And keep any further effects parallel to her arm, right now there's minimal flow, but I can see it.

    Really sexy, though.

This is such a smexy tag Misty. =D
The displacement looks so nice and great idea displacing those other people making the girl the only focal. ;)
Amazing job. I really can't say anything wrong with this tag.
But one question, did you use any special displacements for this tag? or just the pre-made displacements??

Well, in Photoshop I just used the default settings and one of my old .PSD's.
