So you all might have heard of the series Warriors. It's about four clans of warrior cats keeping balance in the forest. They have the Warrior Code, yadayadyada. Haven't heard of it? Get the book from Barnes and Noble or the Library. Great Series! :D So, here is mine. This is in the last days of Firestar before he retires from position and becomes and Elder. Graystripe has passed away in a valiant battle and Brambleclaw has become blind. Brambleclaw is due to become leader in a moon. Here's the chapter! Chapter 0 The moon cast a dull light over the lake, which was sparkling under the stars. There was life everywhere; frogs croaked hoarsly to each other and the tide of the water scarbbling the pebbles whispered along with the pine trees. Another noise started to roar over the other sounds. It was the pawsteps of running cats. At the lead of the large group was a large, obsidion colored cat with a tail as red as blood. The other cats followed obediantly behind him, keeping a steady pace. One of the queens tripped and landed with a squeal. She looked up to see her mate stop. He was a small but broadshouldered longhair cat, white fur shining like the stars. The tortoiseshell queen whimpered, "Snowheart! You musn't stop for me! My kits and I will find a home. Promise to me you'll come back then!" Snowheart shook his head. "I can't leave you. You are my mate. What will happen if I leave you out in this ravage lands? I will feel guilty all of my life, Reedflight." Reedflight's eyes grew wide. "Look behind you!" Snowheart ducked and spun around to see his clanmate, Poppytail. She was a large, dusky cat and her strength was evident as she attacked Snowheart. Snowheart ran off to join the cats running, getting the hint from his leader that he mustn't stay behind. "Don't worry, Reedflight! I promise, in the name of Starclan, that I will come back!" The helpless queen wailed in helplessness as her clan ran off. She watched until she could see Snowheart no more. She tried to stand up, but she found her muscles too weak to get into an upright position. She sighed before she something behind her knocked her out.
