No, this is not based on the book. It's about the war of the worlds in Kingdom Hearts. I know, it's like no wai.

Jack Skellinton walked casually through the streets of Halloween Town, taking down Christmas decorations as he went. Christmas had ended a week ago and preperations to get the holiday back to Halloween theme back.

Passing by an alleyway, Jack was suprised to hear a low growling noise. He turned his boney head, peering through the gloom. He could not see anything through his eyes. Suddenly, a mass of brown and orange leaped up and tackled Jack Skellington. Falling backwards, he could see the lion Simba standing a few meters away.

Simba started to dash at him again, tail streaking behind him. A few inches away from the skeleton, Simba spun around and brought his tail down directly on top of his head. Jack was stunded for a second, and when he started to recover Simba leaped into the air. Bringing a massive paw down, he aimed for the neck of the skeleton.

Now it was Jack's turn to fight. He rolled away from the beastly feline and as he arced into a backflip from his laying down postition, he aimed his sleek fingers at the cat and screamed, "Stop!"

Simba did not move or blink, nor did he even seem to breathe. Jack clapped his hands together as he started to clean the dust in between his bones. Grinning, Jack stated, "Why must we fight? We both are on the side of Sora."

Simba started to recover from the stop curse. Glaring up at the boney man, he rumbled, "You have stolen the Keyblade from Sora. I have come, along with others, to take down those on your side."

Jack jumped back a few steps amd said, "I heard that happened! But it wasn't me or the allies you speak of. It was rumored that the keyblade was taken into the Pride Lands. So, I must end you here. Lightning!

Simba was struck in the chest by a high accelerated bolt of energy. Groaning, he turned to one side. Jack took a careful examination of the beastly lion before walking away. Simba lay unmoving in the road, and he needed help to conceal the lion. As he turned a corner and walked away, Simba openned one eye. Getting up, he prowled away as fast as he could before help arrived by the keyblade stealers.
