358/2 Days Voices

Just a quick question, for those who want to clarify.

I heard from a friend that they weren't keeping one or a few of the english voice actors for this game. Example that Roxas would be played as someone other than Jesse McCartney.

I think it's a little wierd, but then again it could be wrong. Any thoughts?

 

If they had to switch voice actors, sometimes that happens. The actors do get caught up in other projects or some behind the scenes issue transpires we don't know about so though I am not sure about the English voice actors at this time, if they do switch, it's probably likely due to conflicting schedules or failures at negotiations on contracts.

This happened with Kingdom Hearts to KH2 as well. Kairi's voice and Sephiroth's, Aerith's voices changed as well as a couple others.

 

Kairi's VA changed? O__o; So Haden never voiced her in the first game? Or are you talking to the one's in the Japanese version? Because I looked up in Wikipedia and Haden voiced Kairi for both games.

Anyways, I wouldn't mind if they changed the VAs for this game. Only if they are drastic changes, like if their voices were totally in a different octwave than the last one did. xD;;

But if they change Riku's VA then I'll be all like "WTF., but I read David will stick out to the end of the series. ;____;"

 

Well, i think she changed in Kh2:FM+.....

Well they might change some of the VAs.
Sora might change it's VA.

No friggin' way. Sora won't be Sora without Haley. It's a fact.

Anyway, I think they should stick to David for Riku and Jesse for Roxas and Britney for Namine, just because they're important characters for 358/2 Days.

 

Does your friend have any proof of this? If not, we may have to wait.

Anyways, it is normal to change voice actors for a number of reasons. Though, the problem is that some people may complain about the characters "new voice".
