I only recently realised that He sung some of the dub overs of the one piece openings and really now that I know it's basically Edward Elric singing the english openings for OP It's 100x better really I never knew here are the openings he's sung I'm pretty sure he has done a lot more songs but I never knew that He did songs. He sounds really good aaaah. thoughts?
I was surprised by his singing when I first heard it, too! He's also got some pretty funny songs~ : D
Really? I never realized but now I think back it makes sense. He really does have a good singing voice though.
This has been one my all time favourite songs, I don't know if it ever featured in an anime but it just amsed me that this was Ikkaku from Bleach:
Link if the video is broken then: I haven't listened to any of his other stuff though, perhaps I really should.
This was pretty good. Though I couldn't help but think of the person he was talking about was Al then entire time. Guess thats my fault for knowing him as Edward Elric and the plot of the anime.
Actually, Vic wrote "Nothing I Won't Give" based on Full Metal Alchemist. He wanted Aaron(?), the kid who was Al's first English VA, to sing too, but Aaron claimed not to be a good singer or something like that. I think there's one called "Brother" based on the same premise.
Ooh I remember this anime. Vic has really done amazing for his career voicing so many Anime dubs even UNS3 has mostly vic voicing characters such as nagato and obito. He's honestly one of my favourite VA's for English dubs
Hearing Mignogna sing Hikari E.. it's too much for my delicate brain to handle... be still my heart! I'm going to cry from happiness ;u;
He did Brothers from FMA. Not quite correct because it's clearly Al's part halfway through the song, but it's still very lovely.
He has several CDs. I've actually been fortunate enough to hear him sing in person. It was pretty awesome. I think he does it at conventions a lot. I know he sings at "Sunday Morning Reflections" at Anime Weekend Atlanta. Or he did the times I attended.
