    "Sora, are you okay?"

Sora looked back to see Goofy's worried face peering at him. He smiled and took his hand down from where it had been unconsciously clutching his heart. "I'm not sure Goofy. It's just..." His sentence was unceremoniously cut off by a sudden rush of Heartless coming from all directions. As he swung the Keyblade, attacking Heartless left and right, he continued speaking, “It’s just, I feel , I don’t know, torn? That seems right. Like some part of me was left behind when Kairi brought me back. I don’t feel… whole.”

“Fire! That doesn’t seem very good,” Donald pointed out as Goofy nodded his head in agreement. As they fought on, they found no more opportunities to speak anything other than spells. Sora twirled his Keyblade effortlessly as thoughts raced through his mind.

What’s happening? This is freaking me out. Ah! There it is again. A sort of tugging, on my heart, like someone wants it. It’s similar to the feeling I had when I became a Heartless. Maybe… maybe this is an after effect of turning back. Maybe my heart is turning back into a Heartless.

Sora destroyed one last Heartless and put his Keyblade away. As he looked around the room for any straggling Heartless, he noticed a small glowing point of light on the grass near the top of the hill where they had set up camp. “What’s that?”

Goofy watched as Sora walked up the hill towards a small light. He watched as Sora reached down to grab it and he watched as Sora gave out a startled cry and fell backwards down the hill. Goofy faced forward in concern.

“Donald?” Sora stared at his hand in shock. Was it really…? “Can you make a light for me please?” As Goofy went to grab a stick from the road, Sora flexed his hand, over and over. Donald made a torch with a Fire spell and Goofy’s stick. Sora swallowed, stomach sick with horror, and placed his hand, so it was in between him and the fire. There it was again. Faintly, but clearly, there was light on the back of his hand, where there shouldn’t be. It was translucent.

anddddd.... heres chpt 2!!!! this takes place after CoM, but before the end of Reverse/Rebirth. Yay!!!

    "DiZ?"

Diz tore his gaze from the pod and looked over at the girl next to him. The concern in her eyes was visible even in profile. "What is it Namine?" He returned his gaze to the pod.

"I'm worried. Something in Sora's memories caught my attention. He's vanishing." Namine closed her eyes at the memory that she had seen in Sora's Heart. She didn't like such thoughts.

    "Vanishing?"

"Yes, and he's also been feeling a tug against his heart." Namine opened her eyes and reached out her hand. "I can feel it to. His Heart doesn't want to be where it is. Or, more precisely, his body."

"Do you know when this started?" DiZ turned to look at her, blue eyes meeting his.

She closed her eyes again and reached her hand towards Sora, searching, finding. "Ever since Kairi changed him back from being a Heartless."

DiZ blew an inner sigh of relief. He knew what was happening and could stop it. "Don't worry about it. His sleep will hold of the worst of the vanishing, and by then, it will no oonger be an issue."

DiZ strode out of the room, leaving Namine to tend to Sora. Time to go see Riku.

ok. this is chpt 3. twee!!!!! ah i wish someone would reply. im starting to think this fanfic is pointless. maybe if you cant think of any praise, you could mention some questions you have? OH WELL!!!!! doesn't matter i guess. im writing this cause i feel like it, replies be d***ed. yes. ANYWAY!!! chapter three takes place a little bit before and in all of those nifty roxas/riku fights. heh, nifty. i love that word, nifty. yes i know i copied the dialouge from the actual fight! i wanted it to be realistic is all. hmph. anyway, here's chpt 3

“You know what to do Riku?â€

“Yeah. I just have to grab the kid, come back here and Sora will wake up.â€

“You know what will happen if you fail?â€

Riku sighed and looked at DiZ, “That won’t happen, because I won’t fail.â€

DiZ smiled. Riku was as impertinent as ever. He turned and opened a road of darkness.

As Riku stepped through, he found himself on top of a skyscraper, in a city, with tall, dark buildings and many neon signs. As he looked down below, rain pelting his hair, he felt his target. His blindfold prevented him from actually seeing Roxas, Sora’s Nobody, calmly striding into the square, but he knew he was there. Riku watched and waited.

    ************************************************************************

They fought. After all the Heartless were gone, they fought each other, even though they were exhausted. After fighting for a long time, Riku fell backwards, and landed on the mercilessly hard ground.

I have to stall him. “Why!†Riku shouted out suddenly. Poxas jumped. He obviously hadn’t expected Riku to talk to him. “Why do you have the Keyblade?!â€

Roxas looked for a moment at the Keyblade in his hand before answering, “Shut up!†and taking a hard swing at Riku, who shot his arm up and blocked the attack, before following up with a counter. This time Roxas went flying and landed unconscious and the pavement.

Riku walked slowly towards Roxas and threw his borrowed Keyblade so that it landed point first next to Roxas’ head. He stood there, waiting, although he didn’t know what. Suddenly, Roxas snapped open his eyes, grabbed the Keyblade he had lent Riku, and started attacking him. Riku jumped backwards to dodge an attack then followed up with a Dark Aura. Roxas sliced through the blast and the two assailants ended up on opposite sides of the square.

“Quit fooling around!†Roxas shouted, swinging his Keyblade for emphasis. He glared at Riku, who stood there for a moment, staring at Roxas with intrigue. He smiled slightly and answered, “What’s wrong, Sora? Are you done already? Pretty pathetic.â€

Roxas, before he knew what he was doing, grinned and stated back eagerly, “What are you talking about? You’re the one that’s losing!†He stopped himself quickly. What…?

Riku looked at him and murmured, “You really are his Nobody… I guess I have to trust Diz.â€

Roxas’ features became a mix of anger and confusion. “Why do you keep talking about him?!†He stared at his hand before he glared up at Riku, “I’m myself!†He summoned his second Keyblade and charged. After a relatively short fight, Riku was defeated.

No! I can’t lose! If I do, Sora will wake up too early and vanish. I can’t let that happen. Even if I have to…

His attacker walked a few steps closer and growled, “You can’t beat me no matter how hard you try!â€

“I guess so…“ His words came out breathless. “Looks like I have to do it.â€

Roxas dropped his guard a bit. “Do what?â€

Riku straightened, his Heart filled with sorrow at the thought of what he must do. Everything he had done to prevent this. “The power sitting in my Heart.†He removed his headband. “The power supressed by my Heart… if I were to be someone else…†with sorrowful conviction, he opened his Heart to the darkness…

At least Sora will be okay now.
