Van Helsing

This story has been in my head for the last couple days. I hope this RP will be an interesting and fun one for everyone who joins. ^^

Story (before the movie with Hugh Jackman): This will basically be Van Helsing's life before he met Anna Valerious. As we move along, characters from the movie (and possibly the plot) will be incorporated. We'll start with Van Helsing on a simple werewolf mission.

RULES:
1) PG-16
2) Other vampires, werewolves, etc. are allowed (don't bring in characters from the Twilight saga XD)
3) I know plenty about vampires and werewolves, so don't try god modding or power playing!
4) I want this RP to move, so if you take Van Helsing or Dracula, make sure you're on enough that we can have a decently sped story!
5) If you happen to get in an argument with someone else on the RP please take it to PM
6) If you are inactive for three days (without telling me why) I'll have to open the spot you're playing to someone else (unless it's your OC)
7) PLEASE WRITE IN PROPER PARAGRAPHS! Write this like a book is written, not like the writing on IM.
Example of poor writing-- Bob: "Hi Joe" *waves*
Example of better writing-- "Hi Joe," Bob greeted with a wave.
8) No taking other's characters or killing them without PM permission
9) NO RELATIONS TO VAN HELSING! (it just bugs me...)

Alright, we've got everyone we need to start. As a reminder (for the people who are too lazy too look at the first page) we'll be starting in Bucovina (here's a map http://www.sunshineestates.net/reg_sum/reg_sum_images/romania/map-transylvania.gif)

Van Helsing is on a simple werewolf mission. ^.^v

mrsbaggins is going to play Van Helsing while Tularim is offline (cuz she's my sis and i wuv her :glomp:)

HERE WE GO!!

 

Van Helsing. It is a name that echoes across the bloody trail left behind him each paranoid town or diliapidated churchyard he roams through. His purpose is to conquer all the evil, monstrous filth that has invaded the poor country of Transilvania. Some call him a saint for all the lives he saves... some call him a murderer for all the lives he takes. He says it's a little of both.

Van Helsing now rode his horse through a crowd of silent people in a tiny town center. He did not remember the name of the place, or of the people that surrounded him now. All their faces were stone cold and dreading, as if, for some reason, they had just forgotten that moments ago he had shot a werewolf to death that was about to kill innocent children! The blood is already washed from my hands, he thought as he crossed himself.

"Devil!" a voice called out suddenly, almost as he reached the gate out into the cold, snow-covered wilderness.

Van Helsing stopped his horse abruptly, turning his head to glance back at the crowd of starving, ragged
villagers. "It's harsh word," he replied, almost to himself, quiet enough for only those closest to the gated walls could hear. "But I've heard worse... you're welcome."

Adjusting his hat so the worn black leather was tilted over his eyes once more, he placed his gun (no silver bullets in it now; they all rested in the heart of a werewolf-infected man fifty feet behind him on the floor) back in its holster and was about to bolt his horse out of the town's gates when something stopped him.

These people still need help, he thought unfortunately. I might as well stay to protect them, in case this poor man's brother shows up next.

 

Hannah steppped outside her small house and stared at the man atop a sturdy horse. She drew her hood over her head and eyes, closing the door. She pushed through the crowd to get a better look at the stranger. "Van Helsing, correct?" She asked, gazing up at the man clad in black, but keeping her hood on her head. Her dark curls hung over her neck and she hoped the shadow of the hood would obscure her eyes enough that he would not see them. If he was the man she thought he was, he wouldn't take kindly to her being a vampire. She'd kept it a secret ever since she'd been bit (the date being nearly two months ago). With no famly left, she had no worries about being caught by them, but it was a trick when it came to conceiling herself from the villagers.

 

Jinx peeked out of the door of the inn she held a room in to see all the towns people looking furious at Van Helsing and Hannah speaking to him. She quickly cast her most common glamor over herself, making her look completly human to a human, before stepping hesitetnly outside. She made her way to the front of the crowd and fixed her gaze on Van Helsing, waiting for his reply. If he is, I'll have to move again...

History:After his sister was bitten and turned into a vampire he is searching for her, he wishes to join her. But if someone attacks him he will kill it.

Just when I thought I was about to leave, tooVan Helsing thought, not bothering to conceal a huge, sigh.

"Well, miss," he began now, trying not to show his smile at her obvious attempt hide her identity. "If you'd like to conform to looks alone, then be my guest... what makes me such a giveaway as a killer?"

No one else in the crowd spoke, even though he was pleased to see several faces go white when he spoke such a bland question to the curious woman in front of his tall horse. As the girl thought, Van Helsing glanced around at the buildings, and caught the eye of someone in a window of a nearby inn. He could see a lock of hair and a white shirt before the figure turned and disappeared.

That's okay, he thought, his grin widening. I like the young, mysterious ones anyway.
