You guys are missing out on having a special someone. I can talk to her about my feelings. We can talk about weird things and still feel comfortable. She can cook for me. Sometimes we have tickle fights. We can have a fight and still be together because we were meant for each other. And I don't have to make threads like this.
I bought some chocolate for a girl. But not one of those cheesy heart shaped boxed of chocolate. No. I bought her a giant 7 oz. bar of chocolate. It says "I care about you, but I'm not gonna let my feelings get in the way of your life." Or "I wanted to get you something, but a big heart shaped box cost too much so I decided to go to the Baking Needs department as Kroger to get you a bar of baking chocolate because it was on sale." I really hope it's the first one. Cooking for her is infinitely more satisfying.
It sucks. More so when you are partially involved with someone, then you still get them stuff for valentines and do nice stuff for them on a regular basis. You just get diddly squat couple wise. It's not that I mind waiting, but it sucks nonetheless. If you actually enjoy being single then more power to you, allot less shiz to deal with.
I prefer being single, and maybe I'm just saying that because the only chance I would have at a relationship is with someone whom I met online, but either way, being single is better for me. My mind changes too often to ever be satisfied, and I've ended up in situations with boys where the relationship is one-sided, and it's hard to get out of that mess without someone getting hurt. Soo...the fact that I'll be single for the fourteenth does not bother me at all and it never has. I'm incredibly off-topic. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I forget Valentine's Day is an actual holiday and pretend it doesn't exist.
I'm not saying it's not okay to be single or like being single, but this thread is kind of sad. Like, it's nice having someone who you know is always there for you and loves you. In my opinion relationships aren't to be negative, and if they are, you just know that person isn't the one for you.
Soon as I find a guy I think is worth my time, but since I haven't found him yet, I'm posting here. WOOT WOOT! Break out the chocolate and chick flicks.
