Oh, my friend made me sit through an episode of this once during the class we had together on the last day of school, and it wasn't that bad an anime actually. I need to remind myself to get into it.

Anyway, the placement and coloration on most of these are really good. My personal favorites would have to be these:


Still, regardless of this, some of them look like they're in lower quality, as seen in this one:


And besides that, it seems like most of these were just cropped from images that one might find on, oh I don't know, a certain website with a diverse group of individuals who post larger images that act as eyecandy to most lurkers and anons. Don't get me wrong, there's no harm in doing this, but I just think that you may want to experiment with different techniques.

And I actually never touched Tumblr, I found these stocks elsewhere.
I played around with the burn, sharpen, dodge, blur, and other tools, especially regarding shadows and lighting, in essentially all of them and added a few more effects regarding backgrounds and the like but I suppose they were not as clearly visible, hm. These were more cautious than anything, namely because anything experimental I do avatar wise comes out ridiculous at the moment, at least using Photoshop. However, would you have any recommendations as to how one may go about becoming more experimental? Thank you however.
