my guess is that it's a new final fantasy: crystal chronicles. lord knows we need another one of those.
The first Crystal Chronicles was really nice and would have been great for multiplayer if it wasn't so inconvenient. He others were sort of okay, I guess. What do you guys think it is? Somehow I'm hoping for something NieR related, but then again when they say the game will "surprise" , something tells me it'll be something that actually won't lol.

Spoiler Final Fantasy Phone. I hope it actually isn't something small. I could always use another Square game. Seriously though I hope it isn't something for phones or tablets unless they can make a fun casual game, which I can't think of any that they've ever made.
yeah, basically. i think it all kind of went downhill after that and if it's siliconera making this article, it really is all i'm expecting. i doubt they would be hyping up the announcement if it was an ios game because i'm pretty sure they don't care about those either. then again, whatever counts as an exclusive, right?
the hilarity is just too much. do they really have nothing better to report on? like, seriously, a cancelled game? or at least one that's in development-hell. i don't think it was worth teasing about. It would've made a decent, regular article on other gaming sites, but they had to turn it into an "omg this is so exciting i'm going to piss my pants" exclusive. also, i'm not surprised it was cancelled. Square Enix always makes the shittiest shooters. just look at dirge of cerberus.
Hmm... and here I thought it would be a new 3DS game. Oh well, this is what I get for getting my hopes up. Should have know Square would never tell a news site like Siliconera anything big. It's sad that they were hyping it up to be a big game, didn't exactly expect it to be a cancelled one though, lol.
