Implemented Undeniable 1337

I was wondering...will we ever get that changed? I mean, it's been a while since the titles changed, and now even people with less rep have better titles. I know they had to keep it for a while, but it's a bit strange that this much time has passed and no new rep title chosen for this particularly.

Anyone has any answers?

 

I'll give a shout out to RvR since none of the rest of us can change them. Thanks for the reminder!

The reason it had not been changed prior was because there was no decision on what should fill the slot but now everything should be fine.

I'm glad it got changed and all... but the new one sounds kinda... I don't even know how to describe it. "Destined for ballads"? Seriously? It should at least have an "is" before it.

Don't mean to complain, but come on...

Maybe "User should have songs written about them"? Same idea, better wording, imo.​

I actually like this one a lot. Except of course...the typo. I'm hoping it gets fixed, but since RvR isn't on, it can't be changed until he returns.

I understand why you're complaining, but, skittles...you'll be a KHV legend with one more gem. Besides...it's just a rep title, so I think this is good. My main complaint was that we(the ones not changed) got their own new title, but now that's settled.

EDIT: Amber, your suggestion is nice, but it opens the way for complains because the end would sound better as "him or "her", but they would just put "them" which would sound plural...

 

I didn't now it changed till Jayn said something, asking me what it meant.

I like some of the rep titles but... idk.



I see what you mean though. I feel bad for RvR being the only admin so like, everythings on him. I hope it gets fixed soon.

 

How is 'destined for ballads' spelled wrong?

If you guys -really- want something new, give me some suggestions and I'll make a poll with them and people can choose from them and the one that is there. Whatever wins, will be the new thing. Try though to keep out things where it makes gender an issue in it as in 'he is destined, or 'they are' etc.

 

user is destined for ballads.

Means that hypothetically, the user will one day have a writer take their story and craft it into a ballad.

A ballad is a form of verse narrative poetry often times set to music.
Examples: The Ballad of Davy Crockett.

This title is fine.

 

We don't need a new rep title; this one is fine. But I can't believe you can't see the spelling error, even though RvR didn't either. Anyways...here is the problem:

How title is: "User Destined for ballads"

How it should be: "User is destined for ballads"

Notice how an "is" needs to be added...and in minuscule, since the username is already the first word of the sentence.

 

I totally agree with Amber on this one.
I think it should have an is or be something else.
It is bothering me because it doesn't contain proper grammar.
I like the idea of the songs,but the wording is just not right on this one,sorry.

 

Oh...Okay, that's a grammar mistake: Not a spelling mistake, and it's not really a grammar mistake but I see why it is thought so. Since you talked with RvR, did he repair it?

User should have songs written about them"? is not to me the same as
User is destined for ballads. They mean the same thing but the second one sounds more epic with shorter wording. That's just my opinion though. As I said, if you guys really want it changed, I have no problems setting up a poll with a few options. Just give me around 4 or so and we'll do it.

Well, I went in and put 'is' because yeah, it sounds better with 'user'.

 

This pleases me. I guess it works, and it is better than what it was before, so unless anyone else has any complaints...​
