Sony Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

i'm glad there's another game coming out but that trailer was pretty lame.

 

Mixed feelings, I kinda hoped for a new IP from naughty dog for the next gen, but I loved Uncharted.

 

I'm curious to see who the big baddie will be for U4, and while the trailer isn't very action-packed, it does leave me wondering about the backstory. Everyone has to remember that Naughty Dog just made The Last of Us plus the DLC, and the Uncharted world takes a while to develop + flesh out.

I can't wait to see more though. I'm really looking forward to this.

 

Disappointed, after the amazing gameplay and settings, with an amazing narrative and characters of The Last of Us.
We've had three games of Uncharted and as nice as the set pieces were, it just was never as complete as The Last of Us, I really don't get why Naughty Dog want to do this a fourth time.
Indiana Jones had a fourth film, and we know how well that was received.
I bet the game will look like the most incredible game ever, no doubt, but I am sceptical you can make the story any better than it is, since it's really clichéd. If it got the modern Tomb Raider treatment, maybe....

 

It's pretty easy to see why they're making a fourth one, outside of Gran Turismo this is Sony's biggest IP. I was just hoping that Uncharted had been handed over to someone else, as they seem really easy to make. And then Naughty Dog could potentially go back to making some games with good gameplay, if they still have that in them.

There's no way this game is going to be worse than Uncharted 3 though, so don't worry about the quality.

 

Oh goodie, another one. We sure needed a fifth one! I'm sure it'll be very different.

I'm glad they didn't just put this former-trilogy to sleep and are just further doing things to make sure this gen bleeds right into and merges with next-gen.

EDIT: Anyone aware that I don't like Uncharted? Because this should be one of my staples by now

Not going to lie, the first time I saw older Nathan Drake, literally drooled my pants off. Though, I'm not entirely sure if that was from the next-gen graphics of the PS4 or the man himself...Either way, definitely looking forward to this game amongst many other PlayStation exclusives ;D
