It definitely looks fantastic. I'm definitely getting this when it comes out. Uncharted was a great game (Despite what fanboys say >_>) Also The graphics in this trailer are not CGI, they're in real time. http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/game-types/action-adventure/naughty-dog-uncharted-2-teaser-real-time-$1252556.htm Totally not expected right?
Wow, we only see a couple second teaser showing no gameplay and everyone is hooked. I'd be more hyped if it weren't for two things: 1. The first one was ridiculously repeatitive and predictable with story. The realistic platforming was slow and boring, and the shooting was more on par with Mass Effect than GoW. It was very much over-rated. 2. This proves Naughty Dog has ditched their beloved Jak and Daxter franchise. Honestly, right now their is only one good platformer out their and that is Prince of Persia (I'd count Ratchet but they turned him into a TPS pretty much). Bring back Jak, we need him and Sly in this day and age of too many shooters.
I want to say that we might have to wait a little longer. But, I think you're right sadly. I remember they said specifically that after the first Uncharted they would start to work on the next J&D, but with the announcement of the next Uncharted sequel, I feel disappointed. If they don't continue the story, I can live with it, (or rather without it) but I honestly think there is at least one more chapter in the J&D series to finish it off. In other words: Complete Closure. (I have pretty much the entire series, from The Precursor Legacy to Daxter's game on the PSP.)
1. But realistic platforming is slow.... 2. I would love for their to be a new Jak game aswell. As for Rachet and Clank it is still a platformer, the PS3 outing was much more about that then the later PS2 offerings. As for Uncharted 2, it indeed does look very nice for in-game graphics. But i'll wait for more information until I get all giddy.
