Birth by Sleep Two Things I Discovered

Look at the Ven gameplay screenshots and look closely at his Keyblade. In both pictures his Keyblade looks almost completely black, but in both the KH2 secret ending and the KH2:FM secret ending, the colors of his Keyblade seem more like the colors Sora's Kingdom Key. Why do you think this is?

Second, look at this screenshot:

That shadow beside Ven has been baffling people for a long time. Some think it's Riku, but that's impossible considering the time period. I think it's actually Aqua. Why? Look at this picture:

Aqua here has about three spikes in her hair - So does the shadow. The mystery person doesn't seem to be wearing anything on his/her shoulders, and Aqua in the poster doesn't either. Notice the slightly large area on the shadow's left arm? That's definitely a part of Aqua's armor since both Terra and Ven have a part of their armor on their left arms as well. Finally (I'll say this quick), you can see the shadow's boob indicating that it's a female and you can see Aqua's on the poster as well (I'm not being perverted, I'm just putting up another fact that supports this theory). So with that, I conclude that the person standing next to Ven on Destiny Islands is in fact, Aqua (100% in my mind). What do you think?

 

I think ur right but why is Square being so secretive of Aqua i mean we allready know about her so why dont they update us a little bit about her?

 

I think the colour of Ven's keyblade just has to do with specific things in the secret ending like lighting and realism. I don't think it is a big thing.
And the second thing isnt really that new.
But, nice finds?

 

yeah, maybe they havent thought about her storyline yet? maybe they are remodeling her?

Hmm... i want to know more about Aqua, too.
Didn't see her gameplay yet in the pictures.
But I think Square is still working on her XD

 

Well, you have to remember the screenshots are development versions. A black keyblade probably just means they're using a development keyblade without a texture or shader.

Same sort of thing applies to Aqua. They already have the art resources for Ven (just steal his animations from Roxas), so it's just a matter of "who are we going to make first, Terra or Aqua?" Obviously, Terra was chosen.

 

Secret Ending graphics and lighting wins over PSP gameplay graphics and lighting. They seem to be the same color, just not as easily seen.

As for Aqua, I do believe you are right. Another thought I've had,though, is that it could be Sora's (or Riku's) mother. Since they are 4 years old here and fighting each other near the ocean, it seems likely that at least one of their mothers would be watching over them to make sure they didn't hurt themselves.

 

I agree, it may look a bit like aqua but it could be someone completely different.

 

My personal opinion is that vens keyblade has a yellow hand-guard-thing, a dark gray lower "stalk" which changes to lighter gray near the top. i painted my cosplay one as such: i can tell, because if you look VEEEEERRRRYYYYY closely at the join between ven's hand-guard and the holdy-bit, you can see a tinge of yellow.

 

Okay, the keyblade: there isnt really a way to determine its color yet. not by these scans anyway. as far as we can tell, its only its shadow since in the scans ven's holding it in its hard to see the full blade...and in the cutscenes, its really sunny, (you can hardly see the color on aqua's keyblade) or really dark outside (fm+ cutscene)

secondly, the shadow: i really believe thats aqua...i really dont see who else it could be. the people who say its riku are usually those who dont understand when bbs takes place...besides, why would riku talk to ven and have no memory of it? or not even say anything while fighting roxas? finally, ill leave u with this: i really, really dont think nomura is considering giving a boy boobs in kh...

I think Ven is using the Way to Dawn. Thats why its so dark, u'r all expecting oathkeeper or the kingdom key.
anyways, i just want to point out how awesome the graphics are gonna be on this thing.
there just like kh2, if not better.
and why would terra be talking to Malificent?
There's a definent connection with Riku there people, and that means terra is working with the darkness.

 

Ah yes but this also raises another question.

Kairi stood in that almost exact spot in one seen in KH2.


It's funny how so many things are the same and yet they aren't in the KH universe......


But one reason that the keyblade is almost kingdom key colored is that the sun could have affected the colors as well. Or it could just be the location as to why it is black. Didn't that cross your mind?​

 

ven seems to only pick up WTTD in the birth by sleep trailer. if u look closely, his key doesnt have a keychain...it couldnt be wttd

ive noticed something to, in the ven gameplay pics, hes holding his keyblade in his right hand and his keyblade isnt backwards, wat i mean is he holds his keyblade upside down in the secret ending and in the gameplay pics he holds it like sora does. mayybe square decided to make some changes?

 

Yeah, I've noticed that he holds it in his right hand too, but maybe he just does that when doing certain moves? I somehow liked it better in his left hand. As for holding it upside-down, he only holds it normally when he casts thunder as you can see in one picture, but in the other picture, if you look carefully, you can see that he's holding it backwards while he's attacking. So I'm guessing he only holds it normally when he needs to. That makes sense 'cause it'll be quite hard to point the Keyblade upwards while holding it backwards.

 

Aqua is NOT Sora's mother.
It's absolutely impossible.
Saying as in the night that the island was attacked, Sora's mother called him down for dinner.
Remember, in his room?
And Aqua had been in Xemnas's thing for a while.
So, it's impossible.

But, for Riku, it's possible. Her hair closely resembles Riku's, but I still don't think she's either one's mother.

 

Maybe Ven's keyblade changes colors when you attack?

You know, I doubt Nomura actually wants you to know that a main character (Going to say this real quick) had sex. So yeah...thats like Sora and Kairi have a kid in kh3, don't want to think about that.

XD Like many others who have posted in this thread, I really don't think Terra, Aqua, and Ven could be parents of anyone at this point in the story. Plus, look at what they had to do with KH2: it was rated E+13 because of "alcohol-using" Jack Sparrow and the appearance of blood. Also, I don't think Disney would allow it... then again, some of those Disney movies have a lot of adult humor (Mulan, Beauty and The Beast, etc.).
