Birth by Sleep Twilight Town.

Ok. I remember learning, that twilight town is a data creation and all of its inhabitants, save for Namine, Roxas, DiZ and Rikunort are data creations as well that represented real people with hearts.
I was okay with this idea...then I started thinking...

Alternate Twilight Town (ima call it ATT): It may be a data creation as well...but I think its real.
Either that or its been around long enough that it was there during BBS

Assuming ATT is real: what happened to all its inhabitants?(No one lives in ATT) Do the "people" in normal twilight town represent those who were living in ATT at one point...?

Thats confusing, but try to bare with me as I go on...

The room where Sora was sleeping in...
-Next to Donald and Goofy's sleeping pods it shows some other ones. When you examine them it says that someone else may have been in them long ago.
-Who would that be? Terra? Ven? Aqua? Theres no way we could know at this point.

Also twilight town is extremely close to the darkness...
so maybe there was some kind of accident...maybe heartless took over ATT and killed all the people in it...
its nice and bright, but again: no one lives there. Dont you find that a tad creepy? or weird at least????

ATT IS the Data twilight town Roxas spent his 7 days in, you know this because of a number of mentions to it.

The twilight town sora spends 99% of his time in is the REAL twilight town all the people there have hearts and live a perfectly normal life.

Twilight Town is not near the darkness, Twilight town is the perfect ballance of Light and Darkness (Hence Twilight) Worlds like Traverse Town and The world that never was are also 'in between' worlds but those two sit more to the dark.

And yes I have noticed those pods, odds are they will be mentioned in BBS.

 

Like AntiWeapon said, you're a bit mixed up there. I'll break it up for you:

There is a real Twilight Town, real just like all the other worlds. A quiet burg nestled between night and day (hence "Twilight"). Real people with real hearts live there. Ansem, after leaving the realm of nothingness (which Xehanort banished him to), went to Twilight Town to continue his planning in secret. He situated himself in the basement of the abandoned mansion. After CoM, he brought Riku and Naminé there along with the sleeping Sora, Donald, and Goofy so Naminé can safely repair their memories.

The Twilight Town Roxas was in was the fake one - a data version created to hide Roxas while Naminé repaired Sora's memories. It is a "world duplicate" placed into Sora's memories by DiZ (aka Ansem the Wise). The reason Sora's memories were slow to return is because the half of him which is Roxas was still lacking. So Ansem told Riku to bring back Roxas. Ansem made Roxas forget his past and placed him in this virtual Twilight Town to live out his days and regain Sora's memories. After that, he made Roxas fuse back with Sora.

 

Actually I believe that the Twilight Town Roxas was in, was made by Sora in Castle Oblivion in Chain Of Memories game!

 

Actually, the reason why Twilight Town was a part of Sora's memory in CoM was because Roxas was born there recently. So since half of Sora knew Twilight Town, Sora himself had a feeling that he'd seen that town before (that's why Sora said that the town looked familiar; Sora himself never actually had memories of that town, but his Nobody being there before made Sora feel a familiarity with the place). Get it?

 

I have always wondered...
Since you get to TWTNW through the data Twilight Town, was TWTNW just a data recreation aswell?
