    According to their twitter they started getting "intermittent errors" (that seems to be tumblr staff for "the entire site is down" to be perf honest) and then they took the whole thing offline because of a "network issue."

    The day Tumblr fell. Thousands of people are without anything to do. They refresh the Tumblr page constantly, hoping that it'll come back. But it never does. Never.
