I can either wait till after work tomorrow to grab Pokemon AS, or I can go stand in line at my gamestop from 9pm to midnight to get it at midnight, and get less amount of sleep then dealing with children for 6 hours.....I'm pretty sure I know what i'm doing, but what would you guys say?
i'm on the fence about going i'm probably going to go out tonight and if there's a huge line i'll just come home. if there's not i'll get it tomorrow after classes.
This. My Gamestop is pretty low volume, so I'm considering leaving a little after 11 (I could probably even get away with 11:30, but just to play it safe), get there in time to pay, grab a few Streetpasses for the hell of it, and then leave right at midnight. Gotta be up early, but will probably crack it open until I get the Pokedex and can transfer a few Pokemon over.
See, I don't do well unless I get 9-10 hours of sleep, and it takes about 10 minutes or so to get to the gamestop just because of the horrible lights and all the stop signs, so even if I went to get it at midnight, I'd get home and only get about 7 hours of sleep, since I wake up 7:30am and leave for work at 8:30. Plus, since I work with kids for 6 hours, I need as much sleep as I can get
I'm not anticipating much activity since the geek community around here seems to be... nonexistent, so I'll probably leave around the same time. I'd like to get it tonight so I don't have to go out of my way tomorrow, but if there happens to be a lot of people there waiting I won't stick around. It's whatever. I'm fine either way. It's not like I'd be playing it tonight anyway, so going out tonight would be purely for the experience.
I remember when I first got Golden Sun Dark Dawn I played it all the way to 4am in the morning. The one thing about ORAS is that from what serebii has compiled, it's just a more developed version of Ruby/Sapphire (which kind of annoys me), so I could easily beat the story mode in less than a day. When I was around 12 or so, I beat the full emerald story in 15 hours, consecutively, and Ruby/Sapphire is shorter then that. I'm really hoping it's not so boring as the original games were. If nothing else, at least I can fight my Steven over Wallace. Oh yeah, they better make it possible to rebattle your rival too, because that generation had to have the fewest rival battles ever, and there was no way to re-battle them
I'm going. Just want to do something more active, even if I may not get the game. Also want to play Smash with people.
Well yeah, I'd love to do that (except that I have a headache), but I have stuff to do the next morning. i gotta be all responsible and junk
