Yesterday, I had a IEP meeting with some people, since I get Special Help at school. However, I go to a Christian High School, and my social worker is from the public school. During the talk, my mom thought it would be best for me to transfer to the public school, since it is closer to my house and I do know someone there, but I'm so used to heading over to the Christian school. Not to mention, I've been going to that one since I was a freshman and would prefer to finish as a Senior there. I don't know what to do.
Hey Aerith. Well, can't you talk to your mum and just tell her how you feel about this? I mean, if she has suggested you go to the other school. It doesn't mean it's been set in stone yet right?
I agree with BB I was in a simmilar situation. Just try and talk to your mom about how you feel about the situation and try to come to an agreement
I know how you feel. I'm gonna transfer to a public school for my next school year. I've been going to Christian school all my life but the epschool i'm going to is the only one in my area (or remotely close to it) that has a program for video editing, among other things. Just relax and be glad you know someone there. If that person introduces you to new people then you ,ight just feel a bit more welcome. I'm going in blind, since my friend who is about to be a freshman, is going to a different school...
