Heyy guys, the first week back from hiatus has ended and I'm pleased to announce the results of the Top 5! =] There were a lot of great videos this week; it was a difficult choice.
That being said, if you don't make it in, don't give up! You might make it in a future week.

Details: This is beautiful! The flow is wonderful, the overlay and text complements it but isn't intrusive, the flashes and cuts are soft and work wonders with the song. Well done.

2. You Said That You Would Die For Me...

Details: The flow is really nice here, and the recoloring of Kairi's hair to further the story was not only creative but also looked good. A well-constructed, emotional video.

3. RokuShi Day - She Said

Details: The effects and overlays all give this a very dance-y feel; it makes the video a lot of fun to watch.

4. Fight Fight

Details: There was a lot going on here, so I could tell a lot of work went into it. Not much focus on flow, but a solid action video which paid close attention to every beat, on the beat.

5. ~Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts - Generator ^ Second Floor~

Details: The flow here improves as the video progresses, and the sepia-tone of the video coupled with the grunge border really helped capture the fleeting effect of the song. I loved how you matched the lyrics with the characters' smiles.

I really like these, the first one especially- the song is beautiful and I love the effects although I haven't watched them all yet. Good job everyone.

 

Ohhhh I remember Knightshade! It's been a while since I last saw a video from him and I'm really liking this one. It's a shame that it wasn't longer D:

Just what a first place video should be.
Matching the lyrics, effects to compliment the beat, not overusing clips!
Gorgeous!

The only thing that annoyed me was the chroma keying on Terra Aqua and Ven, but i'm just picky with Chroma Keying. I still loved it.
Props to Knightshade for giving me a reason to fight for the top spot next week. X)

 

I placed?! OMG I'm so honored! I've never placed in a video contest before! Honestly, I didn't expect to with this video.

Anyway, everyone's videos were lovely; they deserve to be in the top five. I can't tell you how thankful I am to be here myself. ^_^

 

It's nice to see that I've finally gotten myself to the #1 spot, and it only took about 3 years lol
But, considering that I've been awarded it by the amazing Stardust, I think that makes up for it :D

Congrats to everyone else who placed too, all the other videos were really amazing :D

 

Number 1 was great. Extra props for using Isles and Glaciers.
