Anyone else still around watching Toonami? Or has the novelty already worn off?

    Doing my best
Also these were the ratings for last week
    These are actually quite good
But I think they were expecting more

Well...considering the time slots, I'd call these good. I'm just hoping for the best.

I've had satellite for years brother

  6. I don't foresee it fairing well. Time slots and shows aren't really "Toonami" per say and the nostalgia will eventually wear off and people will realize it's just the A.S.'s S.N.L (the L for lineup) and viewing will drop, no problems.

That's the thing though, there's no nostalgia at the moment.
The reason why people were so pumped for April fools was because OUTLAW STAR
In order for this Toonami to do well it needs either
    1. Nostalgia
    2. New shows
Preferably number 2 hence the reason why we're all watching this, in hopes that they will achieve the funding to get more shows.

ALSO STOP ADVERTISING THE BLOCK AN HOUR BEFORE IT STARTS!

Or it can do moderately well and expand down to 10 pm est and pick up more shows along the way.
    That's just me speculating though.

It's unimportant filler, I'm not sure when it gets back to cannon.

    Edit:
Just looked it up, looks as if Bleach hasn't made it to the bad stuff yet. XD

Incorrect. They replaced three shows with different ones. I'm actually pretty glad about it. I didn't much like Kekkaishi, Durarara got boring the second time around, and even though I understood FLCL a little better than most people do, I could never tell if I had seen all the episodes, so that got old fast too.

  15. I meant more in the way of "OH MY GOD! TOONAMI'S BACK I HAVE TO WATCH IT!" then sit their for a long period of time watching cartoon's/ anime and feel like a child again, that fake nostalgia feeling. I would like to see some of the older shows on the block, next extend the time to earlier in the day (so at like 9:30 pm or some other cap), and finally add new shows to round it out.

I looked up the newer shows I knew nothing about and I was not impressed enough with the line up to stop being on here and missing my few precious hours of rest before a new day arrives.

    The upcoming "race" gets "interesting."
Not as "interesting" as the manga, but it's there.

Yeah... Kinda ruins any sort of seriousness in it. American TV, indeed.

Eh, censorship kind of killed it for me. Probs will watch it subbed/read the manga later.
