Summers always take so long to come,
    but pass by to quick,
    Like a rose,
    It's planted,
    Grows,
    and then withers away,
sometimes I wonder if I could just make time stop.
    to keep that rose alive,
this is the same with summer,
the freedom to do what you want,
    but so little time,
why is life like this as well?
or the rain on a warm spring evening?
the feeling only lasts a while
    cherish it while it's around.

How's this? I wrote it sitting on a sea wall down my street.

    Its cute.

Second line- did you mean "too" instead of "to"?
Remember to capitalise the start of each line, it makes the poem look much neater. ;3

"or the rain on a warm spring evening?" << this line didn't really match the theme of the poem to me, to be honest. Good work, though.
