I dunno if anyone else has liked (Or still likes Tomb Raider), but this is good news to me. I was a huge fan of the series when it first came out all those years ago but that kinda disappeared as the series progressed. I thought it lost it touched and focused on the wrong things. *cough* >_>; (Cept Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, that was a pleasant surprise!) But I'm loving Lara's new look and the whole concept of survival. I really hope Crystal Dynamics can set Lara right.

    Thoughts?

Looks awesome, I've been a fan of Tomb Raider games till my pc couldn't play th newer ones. And when I would finish them, I would either play them again from start (with the all weapons trick of course! xD) or go to her mansion and either try to pass the labyrinth within the time limit before the secret room's entrance was closed, or swim in the pool with the music, or my favourite, lock her butler in the refridgerator with the meat :D. Yeah, well he was scary and he wouldn't die no matter what. xD
The new look is great though, is not what it looked like in the past but it's not for the worse like other games (DMC5). =]
But I guess with this game you will need a strong pc to play and enjoy it.

I've never really played the games before besides one randomly for a week, but I ended up watching the movies.

However, I do like this whole idea of redesigning her and reading the article in their mag was interesting. It seems very fun and I wouldn't mind buying it.

She looked cool with that bow, pistol, and shotgun XD But yeah, awesome that she can get bloody and all. They said they want people to feel sorry for her, and I already did by just reading it.

Gameplay wise, I would love the ability to reach point B from point A in my own way and go back to revisit places. A lot of games don't let you do either of those things so that should be fun as well.

Haven't played the series in such a long time, Haha now that SE owns the rights to Tomb Raider, respectively who knows what they will come up with next.

New look is great, although when I saw the new design I totally knew SE had something to do with it.

I really hope that they do go with the "Lara as a sex object is not our goal".
I find that Tomb Raider was tainted by the movies. Seriously. I don't want Angelina Jolie to ever be in the same sentence again as Tomb Raider again.

But I actually like how she is wearing pants and has dirt on her!

This should technically be under the Square Enix section since well...<< Even the article is tagged with it. Read about this awhile back on Kotaku and I wonder if I'll be interested in even playing it. I only played one Tomb Raider game and it might have been the original(I'm not sure). I didn't even beat that game but it was moderately fun...although I did find PC games very hard to play with a keyboard since at the time I couldn't even properly type ten or so years ago. Meh. Not a big fan of Tomb Raider anyways.

I remember I tried playing Tomb Raider a while ago, and I didn't get far into it at all. I read about this in gameinformer, and I was actually really interested in it. I especially like the new look. It looks so much better.
