Implemented Today's Posts Link on 5.0 Styles

I made this suggestion to Misty yesterday on MSN, but I thought I'd make it public.

I think that Today's Posts link that was on the Quick Links drop-down menu should be added to the 5.0 styles. Basically, it's the same as searching the forums (What's New?), but it displays all new posts within the last 24 hours, and I think it goes by the member's time zone.

This is / would be helpful for those who might have missed something important or interesting from logging out or having their session time out, which removes posts from What's New?.

 

Let's give this a bump.

It would really be helpful, especially for times like today, where, for some reason, it says my last activity was at 3:48 AM PDT; therefore, I lost all new threads between the time span of yesterday, 11:31 PM PDT (when I think my actual last activity was) and today, 3:48 AM PDT.

 

I really don't care for or against this one. It its really easy to do on your own with advanced search (single content, post, no keyword, yesterday and newer). The single click to that result would be fine, but it takes something like 30 seconds to do it otherwise.
