My friends and I covered my trampoline with washing up liquid. It was impossible to move without sliding everywhere, everyone was flying over each other. xD
You outta try mud sliding out the back garden next. Very fun. Just don't do it when your parents are due home.
What is so much fun is sitting on like a computer chair and making one of your legs go COMPLETELY numb. Then let the feeling come back so walking is normal. When you try to jump on the trampoline your leg will just collapse underneath you =D Also stealing people's bounces and nearly launching yourselves over the safety net =]
Done mudsliding already, on the steep wooded slopes near my house. xD Also done the homemade version of slip and slide, got a massive sheet of plastic, covered it in bubbles and water, then ran and dived onto it. :'D EDIT- and yes, stealing people's bounces ftw.
One sheet of plastic is nothing, my friends and I have linked like 30 garbage bags together and used dishwasher soap in place of anything safe. It was the most amazing thing ever.
Next time it snows head up into the mountains, find a nice steep slop (that's fairly deep so you don't hit too many rocks) and sledge down on a piece of hardboard.
At summer camp, there's this hugeass hill in the middle of camp, and whenever is rains, the counselors set out tarps and sprinklers and dish soap and we slide down the hill. We have Doc on hand, of course >_>
We had a bin bag covered hill at Cub camp when I was a kid. It was covered in probably the most I've ever seen a mum use Fairy washing up liquid and of course, I got thrown down it face first by two of the leaders who where named after Jungle Book characters. Fun times. The day before I fell down an even bigger, bin bagless hill, though xD
That just reminded me of that story where the boys sledged into barbed wire x: I always use my bumboard for snow :'D I hope bumboards are well known here xD
Bumboards are for wussies! Travelling face first down a mountain at 30 odd mph is living! rather dangerously I left a dent in the mountain this year. :'D Almost gave myself a concussion, but it was so worth it! xD We had folk use bumboards this year...they quickly asked for our hardboard. So much better on snow since there's no grip on the smooth side.
There's nothing to be afraid off. If you panic you jump off and roll several times in the snow. It's fun! Folk think it's crazy but it's only because they've never tried it.
